So I enter a drag room, claim that I've got a better car than the one being used by the opponent, they get a better one, I get a better one, they get a better one, then I get out my Schwimmwagen with the transmission set to 600 MPH, and get set to race. EVERYONE in the room bursts out laughing EVERY time I do this. Then someone gives be a bump-start; I have an acceleration of 0-10 MPH in about 11.5 seconds...

Drove the pacecar Skyline in a race, then told the driver in front of me to look behind him. He did, bungling a turn, allowing me to pass easily.

I also crack up on Madrid when people hit the pit barrier while trying to pass. Pure Wiley Coyote moments.

Try that a racer who drives with the bumper camera. They can look back and look forward at the same time :p .

Well anyways, getting back onto topic, one of the funniest things I've ever encountered on GT5 is winning the Tsukuba 4 hour Mazda MX-5... backwards. I was going off-track and I lost grip. There was another opponent directly behind me and when he rammed into me, I nearly rolled over O_O .

Getting catapulted from 13th to 2nd because the guy behind me lag-pushed me to 340mph on SSRX. I was only doing 220 before then too.

I enjoy making people go off track even when I don't touch them... I did this once in a shuffle race today, great tactic. An RUF was right behind me, I was in an RS6, I knew his car was faster than mine, so I purposely took the corner wide but didn't go off, with him tailgating me he followed me and went into the grass :lol:. It works almost every time - a good sneaky tactic to do on the last lap! :sly:
 
I have like 3 friends that race every night at 550PP with no assists... I always have fun pissing them off with my GSX/R4 concept... I hold back for the first few laps and then I pass everybody on the last lap... All my friends HATE that little Suzuki. I'm laughing all the way to GTauto.

I find it hilarious whenever someone gets kicked from the room for driving the course in reverse after they'd spun out.
 
I once was in a dirty shuffle room in laguna seca, at last lap, me and some guys were fighting for the 1st place, in last corner some S15 crashes into us and we get into the grass, I rapidly get into the asphalt near the grass and get into 1st! also the room was called clean shuffle

To be honest with you I didn't laugh at this :indiff: .
 
When I pulled the adversary GT-One race car over the main street and pushed it onto the barrior next to the pitlane(at the entry), I couldn't help myself feeling sorry watching in the replay that the driver possibly can't get out of there, he only drives his car toward the tyre barrior and backs again after bumping on the wall. This has to be one of the examplary instances demonstating the simplicity of AIs on an older console like PS1 and 2. :D

hey guys this came to me last night while shuffle racing on nurb.

what is the funniest thing you have ever encountered on GT 5,4,3,ect.

just like last night while racing on shuffle i found GT5 likes to play jokes on its fellow gamers,my example is a buddy of mine was given a nascar in shuffel, the funniest part was it was midnight and it turns out nascars dont have headlights.....and i want to hear your funniest stories

That's because of the oval layout of circuits in which nascar races are regularly held in one season, Nascar competitions generally accompany the scenes of cars performing very close battles at an extremely high speed, which's the main reason why people get so stimulated when they emulate one another at a close range, but it can be pretty dangerous if they're not allowed to look forward or sideways to check the opposing machines. So I think it's not a clever idea for organizers to have a contest at night when the lane of track is so dark that drivers cannot look over the path easily... which cut out the necessity of the headlight being rigged at the front putting sponsorshiped stickers on the spot instead.
 
I had two kids join a 'race for real' room at Laguna Seca. They decided to team up and ram everyone else in the room off the road so that they could win. I was in 2nd behind one of them while the other was in 3rd. The 3rd placed kid decided rather than overtake me he'd ram me off the road at turn 1. I saw him in the mirror and managed to pull my car out of the way just in time. He flew past me and smashed straight into his friend , knocking them both into the gravel and after a lot of screaming at each other over the mic they both quit and exited the room.
