And not sure if its the network, the game or the console?

Seems to be running/loading slow and when I leave an online lobby, it gets stuck and I have to manually shut down the system.

Anyone experience this?

I didn't try the online mode, but booting GT5 when being connected to PSN takes ages.

If PD moves its online department to Fukuoka, I think they move its servers, too.

Maybe PD moves the servers step by step, so GT5 doesn't totaly loose its online functionality, but for the price of a bad connection for a while.

I don't know, but this could explain the bad connection at the moment.

My whole PS3 has been a female dog recently. Here's a list.

-Almost every time I select another clip from the side bar on Youtube, it freezes and has to be switched off.

-If I try to delete someone from my friends list whilst in a game, it needs to be reset because it crashes during the process.

-The music for Wipeout Fury jumps and skips throughout.

-Play TV jumps and scrambles very badly and everything I record has the jumps on it. This one is particularly annoying as it seems to happen at crucial points and can render a show unwatchable for 30+ seconds sometimes.

-The internet has a lot of delay from when you press the buttons on the pad.

-GT5 takes longer to load, is slow to respond and freezes up when I try to leave a room or just before a race starts. It even froze when I tried to join the track for a free run.
Another GT5 issue is on the arcade TT mode. I was trying to get the GT-R official record trophy. I did one hot lap and was 3 secs off. When I crossed the line, there was a HUGE delay.....

.......while the ghost is being generated. The thing is, my car was still moving even though the game had frozen. I crashed and it made me crazy. You have to quit TT altogether and start again to remove the ghost, otherwise it keeps on happening.

There are some other things, I can't be bothered to think though.
If you Google stuff about FW 3.66 freezing PS's, there are others with this problem.
Oh, and my PS3 is a 320gb slim less than 1 year old.

And, I'm sorry to double post, I didn't realise theres a character limit in this stupid PS3 typing box.:grumpy:
