First post, 6 month lurker.
Started playing GT on xmas. Got my first wheel on my birthday 4 days later. Did some research and my wife and i could afford the carrera pkg. I really wanted the Gt2 Clubsport combo but couldnt swing it at the time. Built a small stand which has been slowly expanding. Now includes a seperatly mounted full racing seat from one of my old racing karts with padded arm rest and hard monted standard fanatec shifter. Saved up some cash for the CSP's but didnt order them. A week later a buddy decided to sell his gt2 cs pkg minus the wheel stand for what he paid for it. His wheel was newer than mine and at this time Fanatec was having the well known issues of delivery on these wheels. Totally ecstatic and 3months later couldnt be happier with my ourchase.
Rambling on here.
As far as i know , the only wheel that supports the in game brake and tcs adjustments is the dfg. But as a tinkerer who cant leave things alone I have been coming up with ways to do a cgeap handbrake without wiring into my wheel. I came up with a PS move navigaton controller mounted near my shifter and mapped the controller as thhe ebrake for left analog down.
Tonight i got to playing with the controller mapping more and now have full button functionality. I was able to map wipers and horn which were missing from fanatec wheel. Wipers are minor but a must for cockpit view. Put shift up and down as L1/L2 and you can shift and handbrake at the same time. I would think that would be cool for drifters.
Left/right analog is good for your csmera direction
I have set the L3 to activate the in game aids menu and was very surprised to see it worked and was fully functional.
This thing will most likely work with any wheel i cluding the g series and my tm500.
TO LONG? DIDN'T READ?
Have a wheel that doesnt fully support button mapping? A PS MOVE navigation controller can be used to map everything missing including in game aid adjustment. Be sure as you are mapping buttons to the left side of a normal Ps3 controller.
These are much easier to mount than a ds3.

Sorry for the rambling first post.
