GT5 is now really slow

Any idea why my game is so slow? Loading times, connecting to servers and now few minutes ago game just seemed to stuck to loading screen while others already started the race. My internet bandwith shouldn't have too much traffic.

The game is reliant on the network whenever you're connected. When GT5 released the first few days PD actually recommended you disconnected from the network to play the game because everything was at a crawl thanks to the high traffic. This isn't just online play I'm talking about here either, it's everything.

Clear cache

Then clear the browsers cache by going into the PS3 browser and pressing triangle and security.

Then try resetting the router.

I've noticed GT5 uses constantly my internet bandwith even though I'm not using any network functions. Since my bandwith is slow, it's not really enjoyable since I can't use it to anything else for than GT5.

Of you aren't already, try a hardwired connection directly to the modem. It won't fix everything but should help.
