GT5 KY Signed PS3 Faceplate on EB Games

EB games is offering a licensed GT5 faceplate with unique artwork and KY's signature on it for $48 AUS. I don't know if it will be available worldwide as its an exclusive.

Looks quite nice and seeing as the Japanese GT5 edition blue PS3 is nothing special this might take you fancy. I can't tell if its a vinyl or a plastic cover because EB games site happens to be down at the moment (edit - its a hard cover). Here's the link.

Definately getting that new Faceplate! It's shame it's AU Exclusive but i'll get my Mum to order it for me and send it over to the UK For me. Will make my new GT5 Bundle i'll be getting in November less boring lol
 
Yes, one could order the faceplate from Austrailia. Should work with PlayStations from other countries, as well.
 
bah, I wish it was available here without a oversea order.
 
They need one for the fatty PS3. Though I'm sure 3rd party vinyls will come out soon after GT5.
 
Oh c'mon, only available on the new PS3 Slim? So you (PD) aren't going to cater to your core audience who got a PS3 for GT5P? It's cool looking, but I'll pass.

I'll pass for now, too. For a little more you can get your PS3 custom painted here

It may seem a little pricey, but it's still pretty awesome. And if I'm going to get a "custom faceplate" I'll just get it painted from ColorWare.

I think this is a really nice excellent art work that needs to be framed. I'll buy it and frame it in my library.

if you're gonna do it, better do it, soon. The PS3 would be gone for 3 weeks...unless you get a new one. And you don't want to miss GT5 because your PS3's getting painted.
 
Jesus Christ. I REALLY hope this is available in the US... Seeing as my 60GB got YLOD and I still need to buy a new slim PS3.

OMG, why the Slim? Fail....I am Aussie and actually would consider it were it for Phat...
 
it's probably only from the Slim because that's the only version being produced by Sony at the moment. It's been a few years since the PhatBoy was produced.

Look at it. You can see what looks like a young woman looking away from you, or an older woman at a profile view. The young woman's jaw becomes the old womans nose. And what looks like the young womans necklace is the old womans mouth. Its just a trick picture.

I have never bought any faceplates for anything but wow that does look great. 👍
