GT5 Le Manns Cars

After watching the 24hours du le manns i was thinking I would like to try those cars out in GT5 but I can seem to select any in the Arcade mode, so does this mean I have to save up and buy them.

I love GT5, but i kinda feel like I have bought the game, why is content locked even in Arcade mode? I get the GT Life, but there should be a way I can try every car without having to buy them, a little silly I think.

Anyway any advice would be great.

I agree i think there should be an option to demo your cars not like the actual demo button which only shows you the cars, I want one where you can drive the cars you don't have yet on a track or, you could try to find a friend who shared the car and you can borrow it for a while.
 
For me, this is one of the greatest nonsenses in GT series. In arcade mode we should have access to all the cars. Theres a lot of people who just dont have the time or the will to put hours and hours of boring grinding just to save up to buy one car they simply want to try.

And GT4 was even worst because there was some cars that you could only get if you win the 24h Le Mans. I did it once to get the Bentley Speed 8 or the Audi R8 (dont remember wich one).
 
Peugeot 908, Mazda 987B and the Audi R10 are fabulous! They are all about 5 million but worth every penny, you can't go wrong.

Mazda 787B, but yeah they are all awesome. You have to get the 787B - the engine sound alone will make your ears melt :)
 
The new season events make it SO much easier to get your credits up, on one event you get almost 500,000 for 1st.

Agreed, the 787B gives eargasms! Also a pure joy to drive :P.

If you can select them in Arcade then you can use them without also buying them in GTLife.

Also, if you have someone on your FL with the car you'd like to drive... ask them to set it to 'online', you'll be able to borrow it from their garage for free.

I don't know what the big deal about the Mazda... I have a surround sound system and this car sounds like it's about to break, I think it's rubbish... :yuck:

Personally I think that the Peugeot is the best and sounds the best with the low revving diesel HDi FAP "filtre a particules" engine :) It's also the cheapest...

Get the Peugeot first... I bought 2 within two days... now I have 4...
 
It's Le Mans, not Le Manns or le manns. Also, it's either 24 Heures du Mans or 24 Hours of Le Mans, not "24hours du le manns"; don't switch languages mid-phrase.

LOL That's right. How dare he mix languages. I'm glad there's a language cop on the scene...
 
Just beat the new Expert online races. They're a bit tricky, but they can be beat.

You will get the 22 & 23 tickets in which you can get any LM car you want :cheers:
