No actually, try to turn near the end of the road (the stopping area). And when you brake and turn your wheel, you turn a bit but you mostly go straight. The effect of turning while braking is not so strong. Has something to do with physics I gues.💡
That is also the reasen you should brake BEFORE the corner and not into the corner.
With All aids off, I started off the line by veering ever so slightly to the left, and ended in a 4 wheel drift slide to a stop facing right.
So the car driving line is a long arc, with braking starting as line arc leans back to the right.
Don't be always hard on the brake, perhaps 70-90% is good, as 100% red hot tires will act as wet bananas.
Not more than 30 restarts or so on this one. (all stop challenges the same).
Impossible to do in straight line, for me anyways.

Wow, ran this several times and was .100 to .040 over fairly consistently. Used RA menu to put brake balance to 10 on both front and rear and got .2 under on the 4th try. The first three tries I was using my old braking reference point and stopped well short of the box. What a huge difference. Thanks to everyone for the tips!
I had exactly the same issue with this one and then read someone else's tips somewhere out there in the big WWW about getting gold and they recommended turning ABS off and leaving TC at the default setting. I did that and got gold in three attempts after months of swearing and cursing Doesn't matter if you lock your brakes just hit them hard and fast at the right time and you'll make the time.
I just got my last two golds yesterday WOOT but on this test I do remember finding the right spot to start braking and also I use a manual tranny (to help braking by down shifting) and zero abs. I use DS3. Good luck and you can do it.
