If anyone has had any load screens that have hung or locked, I think I may have found a way of fixing it.
As all of you probably know, GT5 saves to the PS3 in 1000s of tiny files, which get scattered around the HDD.
Each time you start the game, if you go into options-utilities and reinstall the main game data it should solve the problem, as to me, it's as if it de-frags it.
This might look like a pointless excersise when you check the size of the installed files but it works for me and my copy was locking every time before!
