GT5 Maintenance notice.

This patch is most probably going to be mostly, if not only, fixes for random after-race game crashes and other issues introduced with version 1.10. So don't get too much excited over it.

Actually, I AM quite excited! I've had this problem a lot; this and the inability to sometimes leave a lobby without the game freezing. Please let this be true! 👍

But there's a problem: Maybe Will hav no more glitches like Top Gear one or Borrow Glitch :(
 
So anyone know what's new so far? Open a lobby and check it out! Try search functions! I want to know! :D
 
Nothing new in there. I might as well get on myself to check. Then again, by the time I get everything loaded up someone will have already gotten all the info. :lol:

Seems like the (triangle) update list just updates the list now and not cycles through four pages like it used to,
not found a room i want to join yet so haven't found anything else.

Apparently I won't be able to get on to check myself. I have to go school shopping. :grumpy:

But as some have mentioned, it's probably just a little bit of bug fixing.

Just now school shoping? I've been in school for 3 weeks!

Anyway, I didn't get to check, but nothing that I noticed was different. Oh well, we still have 3 more maintenance to look forward to.
 
True. I hope Prologue gives us some nice stuff. I'm going to get on to check myself anyways. Also have to upload a pic from GT5.

Oh and school for me starts tomorrow. ;)

You guys in US are lucky!In brazil we have only 2 months of summer holidays :(
 
Server back here. Restarted GT5 and no game update. So don't expect something new from your game.

The only thing that could be is that they have updated their server files (for online gameplay). Or it was "only" a server maintenance. :sly:
 
^ I should have thought about the update thing.
Got on and opened my own lobby. So far, can't find anything new. What could be done in online maintenance? I was reading about game freezes earlier.

As I said in another thread, we still have THREE, count them, THREE more maintenance dates, so there is still a possibility.
 
But what are the possibilities of?! One could only dream of what is to come. I guess maybe only bugs and such were fixed, or preparations for future maintenance or if possible something done to shuffle races? I didn't check those.
 
They can issue server side patches that we don't download but can improve performance of the game. That may be what was done.
 
There's no way of knowing what was done unless they tell us, all the bugs out weigh what you can noticed being changed in such a short time playing after the outage.

today's fix was most likely just server maintenance and no new software yet wait till the 8 hour ones then well see whats up . i wonder though if these down times are to just prepare the network for a future DLC later this year or after the maintenance is over i mean . seems very possible huh?
 
Did someone got problems entering and exiting from seasonal event races after maintenance finished?

I never had problems entering from the seasonal event menu to the pre-race menu, but now after the maintenance almost half the time I try to go to race, I end up with a endless loading screen (bar full, but not passing from that screen), forcing me to quite the game and start again... exiting from them to GT life is as slow as it was before...
