I know right! Damn PD, first they delay DLC, then keep their mouths shut for so long, and then they tease us like this! :banghead:

When GT Academy said I earned the Leaf and the Silvia, and when I went on GT5 to check, I thought I did something wrong. But hey, it's not like I would want something as useless as the leaf anyway.

i could care less about the Leaf too, but i want my Silvia!

Raggadish
So you only care somewhat? Perhaps you meant to say "Couldn't care less".

Anyway, thanks guys for the pics. I'm browsing the thread at work and it keeps me entertained.

You know what, every time I hear someone say this stupid sentence it really winds me up. It's usually Americans. It's on films and everything speak English you morons!

David Mitchell is a genius.

Also raggadish, the link you provided has no correlation to this argument. All you have done is point out that you have proven his theory by calling someone a grammar nazi.

Because rappers and TV, not tele or what ever you call have ruined the brains of the youth. Text messaging doesn't help either. Face it, you have your english and we have american english.

There's no such thing as American English, it's called broken English, and it's called that for a reason.

To be honest, I... (ahem) couldn't care less about how anyone speaks as long as I understand them and although many Americans say "could care less" I've heard it so many times on the iRacing forums over the years that I've learned to understand what they mean when they say it.

Now lets steer this thread back OT.

Please read what I've posted again. It was a reply to him calling me a grammar nazi, which would conform with Godwin's law. Although I might settle for not calling his statement an argument, as it was simply a statement.

It's just different, doesn't make you better! I know people from different spanish speaking countries and it is not the same as what people from Spain speak. does that mean it's "broken spanish"? Get over yourself. The problem really is that too many people here speak in slang, and I for one never say "could care less", it's COULDN'T CARE LESS. Comments like that are what make americans think less of brits. Just because it's different doesn't make it wrong.

Hey hey, english is my third language and I try to keep it as correct as possible. As should you, especially when in conversations viewed by many others. No hard feelings though, just a friendly reminder as I'm sure you know how to spell correctly. At least you didn't mix 'you're' and 'your', that one really grinds my gears.

I know, I know, I was just joking...

Woah woah, are the Brits having qualms with good old 'Merican English?

Dude go outside of London, and I'd probably scream at the country folk to speak English.

Wow chill out pal. I never said it was wrong, an I never said I was better either. Can we get back on topic please? Lol.

And I'm not even gonna entertain the post above mine, lol.
