DiRT 3 had that as well. Not GT5 though... GT6? Hoping so.

PGR4 (Project Gotham Racing) is for the 360. It had excellent snow and rain effects. The water would actually run down the entire car. The puddles and drifts even effected the physics. If you went through the water puddles you would hydroplane. If you went through the snow drifts it would slow you down. Yes Dirt 3 also did a great job with their weather effects.
