As I search the New Cars for what to buy for races, etc... I always come across the "hidden" info. Take the BMW Concept for example - why is is such a big deal to hide most of the details about the car?

So, is there a car database for GT5 that actually displays all the details about the cars? I have seen ones that will tell you how much they cost and what models are available but nothing about what they weight, HP, etc...

I wish they had displayed the X-1 details.

And as you I never understood why there wasnt stat.

When you buy them the info is displayed in your garage. I have no idea why it's hidden unless someone just forgot to fill in the info.

Well they do hide it but when you buy the car you do see the weight and power details so its not that big of a deal! They have always done this for some of the cars. I think it may have to do with not knowing the real life stats about the cars so they didn't want to "misquote" them! I could be completely wrong however this isn't the first time the franchise has hidden stats. It is always on somewhat non existant one off cars. Which is why it makes me think its because they don't actually know the real stats.

Not really. The Formula GT in my garage still doesn't show much of anything. No length, width, height, displacement. Even though the displacement is clearly stated in the description.

There's one car that doesn't say anything at all. I think it's the Furai. It doesn't even say what kind of drivetrain it has.

I know and I am trying to find cars to buy that will stay under 400hp and be able to be lightened enough for some online races my community is going to have. I just simply don't have the time to buy all the cars with hidden fields and then hope I can use them for a race.

Those "hidden" stats are just annoying.

I get the feeling that the "hidden" details are for the cars that they just plainly not sure about. Most of the cars that I've seen like that are concepts or just plainly very new cars. In case of Furai I think the car is a drivable car in real life(Courage C65 with a custom bodywork), but concepts being concepts nothing is representative or nailed down. When it added to your garage the figure shown are probably what they assigned to the car to make the car work in game, and its their "best guess" of a what-if scenario...

The furai is driveable, and real, so they should have gotten specs for it (which are easily available with a quick google search). They don't even have the drivetrain entered in, so you can't use it in the MR event.
