GT5 not so amazing? Well i had real high hopes ive heard the from other people the graphics are real amazing but, is my ps3 settings or my monitor or is the game? Whenever i play the game their is so much anitlasing around the edges of the cars and everything. Its like on every line or edge of something their is a white visible line, is it my monitor? i have a HP HDMI monitor its a 22" and its running on 1080p HD. Any suggestion whats up? Im pretty sure the game has crazy looking graphics since have been a fan of GT5 since i was a kid, but now i see it and the graphics just dont look right.

i agree, i thought the graphics would of been amazing. even when the car is changing oil or getting a wash, it looks like something from gt4. graphics are better on forza 3..dare i say it!

Your name says it all. On crack:lol:. It was never going to be prefect, let's face it, it is a game. But people have different opinions so...

In some tvs, or monitors, there is a calibration "called" sharpnes. Try to reduce this, it applies some kind of "sharp" filter in the image, turning it into a overshaped mess...

Which model of HP monitor? I had severe problems with several HP LCD TV's a few years back...they ended up sending me 3 different sets all with the same display problems (video games looked TERRIBLE), then sent a technician to "fix" the 3rd one, which didn't work...so then they just sent me the newer model of the monitor.

Its not your monitor. Thats how the game looks. :guilty: The shadows are really bad. The only part of the game that looks really really good is the photo travel but you can only bring premium cars there. On track some of the cars look very bad. Especially the rear of the standard Berlinetta. :yuck:

I love my forza but I've gotta disagree.
Just yesterday I had both games on the same track, same car (nurburgring GP/Nissan GTR) in cockpit view.
Switching channels back and forth (1080p via hdmi/LG 37"), and the difference is clear. GT5 despite it's graphical glitches is definitely the better looking game.
I don't really care either way, it just had to be done.

I don't think it's especially amazing either.. Only the day/night transitions have really made me go 'oooh' so far.

The track is bumpier on FM3 though.. Whether that's more or less realistic is another question, but I prefer the bumps.

Now, if only we could get FM3's carlist into GT......

i know but it was an ackward moment, like i expected it not even that good, but to be good not excellent, and when i drove the AE86, omg i had to literrally go and wash my eyes, ireally thought there was something wrong. And let me check my HP HDMI monitor and tell you what model it is.
