HI GUYS

I was just wondering if any of you can recommend me some music which you find motivating for serious racing when GT5 arrives...

I like some Circulation mixes, but any other recommendation would be truly appreciated

The song I put in my Tourist Trophy Nurburgring Youtube video (check my sig).

But only for replays. When racing, the best music is your engine talking.

Kavinsky - Testarossa Autodrive
Kavinsky - Pacific Coast Highway
Kavinsky - 1986
Daft Punk - Revolution 909
Justice - Genesis

;)

Normally, I just turn the music off, however...

...I've always felt it should be illegal to operate a motor vehicle while listening to Meshuggah, as their music makes me drive faster, and more aggressively ;)

The Cult-she sells sanctuary
Kenny loggins-Dangerzone
Alpine star - Carbon kid
What to believe-Daiki Kasho
Lose control-Ash
As heaven is wide-Garbage

I could go on but you get the picture :D

My music style while driving is electro, house, trance

Deadmau5 & kaskade - I remember
Deadmau5 - some chords
Faithless - God is DJ (deadmau5 remix)
Armin van Buuren - Full focus (ummet ozcan remix)
Angel Ace - Taking off again (colonial one remix)
Leon Bolier - Ye (or every other song from his album Pictures)

and many many more, which I allready forget :D

I listen to mostly post-hardcore...I have a bunch of bands added to NHL11 and MLB 10 The Show and I'll just use those for GT5 as well.

There is so much music that I enjoy while driving for real but in terms of serious racing it is hard for me to even imagion listening to any music at all. I want to hear the engine, the tires and such.

Now on the 24 hour races should they still be in I will have some classics qued up. 3 that come to mind are Slow Ride by Foghat, Free Ride by Edgar Winter and Drivers Seat by Sniff'n the Tears. Also will have some hard rock and metal in the list as well as some softer stuff. Most likely I will create 3 playlists and switch between one of them or none at all.

Yellow - Oh Yeah

That´s all xDD
It will be in my list but the list might be longer and filled with all kinds of music.
From Classic to Metal

I think I'll put My Favourite Game on it... coz like that was awesome!! GT2 soundtrack FTW!

Pretty much anything by Them Crooked Vultures (particularly Gunman and Dead End Friends) and Kasabian (Underdog and Club Foot).

dude im glad im not the only meshuggah fan here. Most of meshuggah's stuff puts me in a trance and it feels awesome ex: Rational Gaze, Shed, Spasm etc.

Ill throw in some more progressive metal stuff like:

and some other good thrash/heavy metal stuff like pantera
and maybe some melodic death metal for those scenic cruises

I'll have some of my initial D tracks :) Bring on the Hatchi Rocku!
