Nissan is represented far out of proportion to most car enthusiasts interest in it. Not really that surprising however, given the country of origin.
 
Nice list. It is a lot easier to look at this list (to find premiums) as opposed to the list with all 1000+ cars on it. I think it is going to be great to drive the Corvette ZR-1 '09:)

Quick correction. There are two premium TVR's, not 1.:sly:

I know what you mean. Its nice to have this list, but dang I sure wish it was a better list to pick from. Lets face it, in order to drive the "premium" cars, we will only be able to pick cars from this list. :indiff:

I'm confused. On the Sony GT website, I've seen that the Evo IV + VI T.M. editions are listed as standards and the Evo IV + VI rally cars and the Evo GSR '92 are premiums. So which is right??
 
You really have to wonder why in the hell they think anyone wants TWO premium Suzuki Cappucinos. And then a Camry #11 NASCAR '10 and a Camry #18 and a Camry #20 and a Camry #83. We don't need four premium versions of exactly the same damn car. And then you have all the Impala NASCAR's. I mean seriously, why?
 
Some good cars, but I hate how majority of the fastest cars aren't in the game. Having the Veyron in the game, but no CCX-R makes no sense to me as it murders the Veyron to 0-100mph and 0-200mph. Also the CCX-R has a higher top speed but never was tested officially for that, but it's said to be the fastest car in the world from the factory (faster than the Aero). And than I am also confused why they wasted time making crappy cars premium. Like the above said, two Cappucinos are premium in the game. Why not make one and make a car people actually want to RACE for the second. Or heck, not make any of them premium, no one will really care.

Who cares if the ccx-r isn't in the game? Who cares if the veyron is standard? I don't. I would much rather compare cars, mod cars, that I can actually buy, or ones that are legendary like all the skylines. That's what it's about for me. Not driving some 1 million dollar car that goes 200mph that I will never even see in my lifetime, nor care to drive. Something with a racing pedigree.
 
i blame NASCAR for this shamefull premium list, not skylines...cuz of the nascar they wasted their time creating those cars, they could of use that time for more tracks or maybe more BMW premium but thats just me

Bugatti has racing pedigree. More than Nissan.

What a waste of making to many premiums for Nissan instead for other cars like Veyron and Countach and RUF. This game should have a monicker or be called "Gt5 Nissan Experience" on the cover

I might do a quick search and replace for the words "(image)" and "[New]" to help clean up the first post.

Yeah, right.

Bugatti won in the 1930s; Nissan has been succesfull in WRC, World Sportscars/Le Mans 24h, IMSA GTP, IMSA GTO, TransAm (iirc!), JGTC/SuperGT.

Saying stuff without knowledge is fun.
 
Yeah that's true actually. Still, Bugatti has it and the Veyron, whether you like it or not, is a milestone car and quite simply a masterpiece in automotive engineering.
 
Well even the intro of the game shows Nissan being built, so Maybe Nissan payed a lot of buck to PD. Sad so sad, 6 years wasted on Nissan cars and ignore the other legendary cars. honestly i will still buy the game but the premium list is not worth it. I hope on Gt6 they will treat every car equal, ALL CARS SHOULD BE PREMIUM FOR GT6
 
Well, PD is japanese, so there are more japanese cars and circuits in the game overall.

It makes sense, as a lot of manufacturers refused to be part of GT before, and maybe PD has more info/contacts/solid relation with the japanese base.

IMO, Koenigsegg should be in as much as Porsche. But I haven't seen any statement about the reason they are not in GT.

I would like to see more historic cars from the F1 era (Maseratis, Bugattis, Alfas, etc.) and historic racers in general (Le Mans cars :)), but I guess PD will get there eventually.

If allowed, they should have gone the extra mile to make premium versions of the LMP cars from GT4 (Sauber C9, Nissan RCP92, Toyota GT One, Bentley Speed 8, etc.)

I understand GT encompasses all kinds of cars, but I am not much fond of those small Japanese cars from the 80's and 90's. Or any other small/slow cars from anywhere. It would be interesting if we could use their chassis to make rally cars or racing cars (extensive engine swaping/suspension overhaul/etc.), but we have yet to see what we can do in GT5. Anyway, I'd rather have supersports and race cars over anything else.

Honestly I'm quite satisfied with the list. Well i could have been happier if i saw the Countach as premium and also the Veyron but it never happen, we cannot do anything about it. Just wait for Gt6, for now let us just be happy with what we see and, who knows, we might get a future DLC for Veyron and other cars.

Got to say, it looks a lot better when you look at the premium list in isolation. Sure it would have been nice to see some of the standard cars premium, but you could make a game just out of the cars listed here. The fact that we have another 800 standard models thrown in is a bonus
