For anyone who's having problems reading the XMB with some of the images you can turn down the brightness in the XMB menu as a temporary solution.
Bright images will be replaced in the next version and I'll stop being lazy and test all the images as a background first :lol:

Why don't you just manually adjust the brightness on the images in Photoshop before you even put them up, that should solve all the problems. :D
 
I would love to see an SD version, if it's not too much effort.
Not everybody has an HD tv, you know :sly:
 
This might work. I don't think there is any bright areas to disturb the XMB.

 
ok guys, i'm going to add photos for those on a 4:3 screen !
so i'll have a look back and see what i have already but keep em coming!

Now I just need some 4:3 images! :lol:
As I just said, I need images in the aspect 4:3, more specifically 640x480p
I want to add some SD backgrounds before I release the next version so the quicker you post some decent 640x480 images the quicker you get V2.00!!
 
Anyone know a place where you can upload pictures 1920x1080? Flickr can't either =P I could .zip them and upload to Mediafire, but meh =P
 
You can change your Pb settings to allow the upload of the full images (i thinks)

Just resize the HD ones.....
 
that would mean chopping them up, i'd get better looking images if they were originally taken in 4:3
 
hmmm it seems there isn't an option in GT5 for 4:3 images this may be harder than i thought...
 
mine its 3:2 1:1 16:9 and something like 16:1
you 100% sure it says 4:3 ? might be a region thing
 
it is but is different enough :/ i'm gunna have to do some testing and see how it deals with it
 
Don't know if you're still looking for 1920x1080 pics, but I found an older one I shot that I think might work nicely in a theme... Hope you like!
