GT5 Race music

how do i add more of my own music than 1 song at a time to gt5? ive got 2 play lists of 500 songs each, so its a bit impractical to do 1 song at a time

I added music to the game once I think. If I were to hazard a guess (haven't got the PS3 on right now sorry) try holding L1 and then selecting multiple, before pressing triangle, and selecting copy all.

That is the system GT5 uses for selecting/copying multiple items elsewhere in the menu system, so I would guess it rings true for importing music as well.

Let me know if that works out.

Edit: Read some more, from what I have seen, it is only possible to do one at at time. Sorry bud

Well, the reason why you could only add one song at a time is because the playlist would follow the specific orders that you made in that playlist. For example, you have songs #s 2, 5 & 6 and you made a specific order in which you added song #6 first in the playlist then added song #5 second then song #2 third and so on. The playlist will always follow the specific orders that you made. However, when adding multiple songs to a playlist, well, it's possible but I don't think it will follow the orders in it specifically.

I can be wrong (my memory is hazy, since I haven't done this in a while).
When it asks you to choose the song to play, I believe that it automatically plays the grouping it is in. For example, I organize my music by album, and when I choose to play a song in Album B, then it will cycle through all the songs of Album B.

So when it asks you to choose a song, change the grouping of the songs until each individual song is all grouped together (based on your circumstances, I would group them as individual songs, so technically all the songs are grouped together all as individual tracks).


*and I believe the grouping button is done by pressing the Square button.
