Is It me or is gt5 really slow at loading anything since the new update, it is starting to really annoy me now.

Out of nowhere my game is now running at extremely slow pace...

Depends on your number of cars, paints and museum cards in my experience! 👍

Usually it took me 30 seconds to load while on that screen with the GT5 logo and online disclaimer. Now it takes twice as long. Makes it an even slower and more boring process to reload my tickets for cars I need.

is loading time really that big of a deal? obviously you have the time to play the game, i'm pretty sure you have an extra 30 seconds of time to wait.

True but sometimes it's stuck on any giving screen for about 2-5 mins

Didnt the game run slow on release because the servers couldnt handle all the players? I mention it because of the recent platinum release, probably a lot more players now

My game servers where down last nigh, I don't think there was planned maintenance. If they knew about the slowness maybe they fixed it. Not sure, haven't booted the game yet today.

That is so freakin' annoying! Most boring screen ever and it takes 10 years!

I think it is to do with GT's servers rather than PSN. I've been having slow loading times recently but I had a message come up in the online lobby that I couldn't join a room due to 'high network traffic'.

I haven't had this since the first few weeks GT was out, so i'm wondering if the cheaper GT5 Platinum is bringing more people online which is causing the problems.

Back in August the game was running slow and taking a long time to load. Then the first few weeks of September they did Maintenance for several days for what they called minor issues. This Maintenance speeded up the download times and was working fine untill the last 2.0 update and now they are back to running slow .
