Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere. But I have been having some problems as of late when GT5 crashing during saving, I've lost 2 Profiles (With over 50% competition) with-in a week because of this.

Only one of my Save data's says it was corrupted, is the other one possible salvageable?

no, its happened to me before. cant be restored.
Check out the options menu. i cant remember what its called but there is a "salvage old files" option there somewhere. It didnt help me, maybe itll work for you.

you can avoid such by keeping a copy of your save file in a usb, or create another profile on your PS and copy your save files there as a back up.

This seems to be a common problem because a number of people have reported the same problem...including me.

There is some problem with GT5 that corrupts the data file during saves.

So, the advice Stormbringer offered is quite good. Make a backup copy of your data save and put it somewhere safe, if you want to be able to recover your progress.

I have problem, when i bought a new car, then tune it up, i choose practise, i go driving and while i'm driving i press start to get away but menu won't appear and time split's doesn't work and the pit lane, in pit's the camera move's on the side of the car like always but i can drive the car from there, so i have to reboot ps3 and go back to gt and i check that the car is still there but the part's dissappear, only body part's and tire's are saved and the paint if i did something to that, this has happen about fifteen time's now, otherwise everything else is working fine, would be nice to know is this only my problem, didn't find any info. (sry.my Eng.)

I have had this same problem with PSOne and PS2 games saves. I found out that if you buy another game disc problem solved. Not all discs will be perfect but if you don't have the same problem with any other game then it could only be the game disc itself.

I hope this helps.
