Need I post this again?

You really don't know the differences between photmode shots and real-time captures? Photomode shots have far more post-processing than you get in real-time. Anti-aliasing, texture filtering, resolution, motion blur and the list goes on. For example, in real-time the game has 4xMSAA at best. I can't tell you exactly how much AA photomode shots have, but I assure you it's far more than 4x.
What I meant is, if you're willing to allow far better anti-aliasing and many other improvements in your "not bullshot" category, you should also allow higher LOD. It would still be only using game assets, just not in the same way it does in real-time. Much like AA, texture filtering, motion blur, etc...
By the way, I was just following your logic. I don't consider photomode shots to be bullshots, even though they are misleading to the uninformed gamer.
Did anyone ever spot any signs of LOD changes in GT5:P or any subsequent gameplay then?
LOD changes, yes. LOD differences between garage and race models "a la" GT4, no.
There are differences between garage and race models in GT5P
lol After you really see all the detail of each car, you then start understanding why there are only 200+ premium cars which is an accomplishment even of of itself.
These screenshots really do represent an artist at heart and someone who has dedicated his whole life to the automobile.
I salute you Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital!! Oh, and tranlator-san!! Can't forget him!
They look the same to me. Different conditions that change lighting and, of course, a different colour body-shell (BMW) but the models don't seem different at all. That's probably because the in-game model doesn't change when you use Photo Mode 'in-game'.Need I post this again?

Ai cars got less detailed when they were further away from the player car.Did anyone ever spot any signs of LOD changes in GT5or any subsequent gameplay then?

I have to say that the replay run at higher resolution.
It's not that beautiful when you actually play the game, as you can see in the screen shots below.
The amount of times I've come in this thread and seen people debating polygons or some random crap and NOT seeing any images of GT5 zoomed in is terrible 👎

Where the heck did you get those screen shots from?! Those are terrible dude! It looks like something running on a PS1, and for sure looks nothing like Prologue on my TV running in 1080p mode. It's not that beautiful when you actually play the game, as you can see in the screen shots below.

This more or less sums the situation up - from where I stand, at least.

Post processing (anti-aliasing, motion blur) couldn't differ more from significant changes to the game's actual graphics (models, textures, lighting).
Third shot is this weird bird statue at the Red Bull Hangar right above the Lamborghini. Does anyone know what this is? Looks like a Decepticon Robot.
