GT5 Song Contest Winner is MajanoX!

I just put a number there to make it different because I knew a lot of people will send the title "Soul on Display".

And of course I sent my real name on the email but also my PSN ID... I didnt thought they will call me MajanoX instead of my real name. 👎

Anyway, thanks guys!... A GTPlanet member told me the good news first!

Everyone who went for 'Soul on Display' should be included in the credits IMO.

Well if you consider that the name of the song by the same band on the a GT5 2009 E3 trailer also has 1337 speak in it (SURV1V3) I'd say it's not surprising.

EDIT: On second thought, I'm not sure it was the E3 2009 trailer, but I'm sure it was in a trailer, just can't remember which one.

oh my god. i really have to agree with some of the guys here. soul on display was one of my first thoughts, but i doubted that this level of "originality" was what they were looking for. i think it only partly describes the song and has an emo touch to it that makes me wanna punch the singer. and who needs to be reminded that were into the fifth gt and that its gonna be great??? you'd have to be braindead!!!

i submitted "alight" to describe the way this guy feels and the way you feel when you are driving "in the zone" or at the limit. also i think it is the perfect match for the series since gt5 is pretty much its pinnacle. soul on display might go with the teams efforts but it has nothing to do with us players and i personally think it grows old very quick.

after giving it another thought, now i would have sent "wide awake" in and i know, that this tune will never be called 5oul on d!splay on my psp.

Who wouldn't be jealous? And the 1337, in my opinion, really isn't a good choice, because to a lot of people who might not understand this "internet language", the song's name is now "five-oul on d-exclamation mark-splay. And it isn't even English (it was supposed to be). But that Kaz-man sure liked it, so it must fit to the GT5 brand.

Congrats on the winner 👍 Though I also think KY & DK could've chosen a more 'professional' title. The '5' I can still accept (it doesn't look that out of place and it signifies the 5th game in the series), but the exclamation mark sticks out like a sore thumb and serves no purpose IMO.

Which is probably exactly the generation they need to persuade buying a GT-game, as they were probably too young to experience most previous GT-games or even aware of its significance back in 1997.
