Seems like blimblim mistook it for the X1. lol I was already wondering how they can just show the X1 like that in a demo when PD seems to want to keep it a surprise.
 
Is it just me or did the car seem slanted downwards to the left after he plowed the wall that first time?

Nah, I think its just the angle he hits the wall at, then goes over a crest as he is having the accident, then when he is finished, he's facing downhill slightly, so it does look like it.

Looks like you guys are hitting all the most exciting stuff right off the bat. Usually everyone has to wait while slow trickles of Tokyo R246 come out. For that I can't thank you enough.

Quick question, if you have a chance... Which tracks have alternate effects (weather/time of day)?

The only thing that's a little disturbing in that vid is that the wipers don't seem to affect the rain on the windscreen, its like there are no wipers on.

It is definately different to the VW buggy thing video which clears all of the water off the screen. Strange...
 
Goodnight all. I will update all the new videos in about 9 hours when I am able to (after I wake up and go to some classes).

They will be sorted by track as they are now. And keep me informed of the new cars ;)

I think that's just a byproduct of going fast, the videos are a bit overexposed due to the nature of the recording, but there is so much rain coming up the windshield the wipers are going to be a lot less effective, which will be really interesting.

Maybe to you personally... But they're might be people out there who will appreciate them. To each their own, and I am glad PD is giving us a broad range of "premium" cars to experience, and not just 200 race cars.
 
So, I'm watching the Laguna Seca video, and I can't help but notice the in-cockpit shadows looks absolutely terrible, while everything else is crisp, guessing the car isn't finalized then?

Oh and on the VW Premium discussion, I don't think it's a waste at all, these are some iconic vehicles that will be recognized by a lot of people, maybe even convincing people who wouldn't buy otherwise. (I bought GT4 solely for the '05 Mustang GT, only to realize it sucked :lol:)
