Has anyone done this analysis yet?
Basically, how much difference does a tire compound make for a given car and driver in terms of specific lap times? This is the kind of stuff that you see all over time attack, autocross, and HPDE forums - comparing the Hoosire A6/R6, Kuhmo v710, Hankook c214, Toyo RA-1/888, Nitto NT01, etc... - but I haven't found one for GT5 yet.
Take a track like High Speed Ring. With a '91 miata, 370z, Ferrari 458, Super GT series race car, and Toyota Minolta - what are the lap times that can be run with each tire compound.
If there's another thread, please direct me - I had no luck w/ searching.
