Motul Piwork shows up again Day 1571....

Just a thought....this sequence may not be a loop at all, but one that rises and falls like a thermometer...get to the top then reverse the order downward...:crazy:

That would be a mean trick for PD to play on us :D
 
I think I've figured out the mystery behind the days where Fastas has seven cars, at least for Fastas days 279 - 324. Between these days there are two days with seven cars. Close by, either before or after these days there is a day with five cars + one line with unknown car (?). I removed those unknown lines, so 6 + 7 becomes 6+6.

Now this section has correct number of cars, I checked that against my own account and the day didn't shift between two of my dates. The cars within Fastas days are still in random order as he didn't document order with in a day. In addition there is offset and as a result a car marked for a certain day by Fastas can be +/- 1-2 days away from what you see in the game.

It is kind of hard to explain, maybe you can understand better by comparing attached excel file to the original compiled list.

As a closing note, I'd like to thank Fastas for documenting so many days and TornadoAlley for putting it all together, it has saved me countless hours and I wouldn't have started my documentation without their work. It is unfortunate that it wasn't known that the days could have offsets between users and the order within days was not documented at the time when Fastas made his list.

Either you found this thread through a search for "UCD", or someone else did and linked you to it. If you find this thread through another method, the highlighted part should go away.

It would still be a loop.

e.g. 1-10

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 2 .....etc

See ? the loop would be 1 to 1, then loop again. We'd still spot it.

Im 10 days away from the first 7 car day in my file. Ive reordered 261-284 so far, will upload soon. I noticed the ? marks when looking through the list, Im guessing it will even out like you predict.

Hextet order is immutable - the six cars will always appear one after the other - but the hextets themselves aren't necessarily preserved. The start point may be transposed so that a user gets half of a preceding hextet and half of a following hextet.

So whereas I might get:
Spearthrust Ultrapants '04 .... Crusty Nigel '73
Vomit Wondercheese '99 ...... Monster Ringworm '95
Baffling Trouseritch STD '06 .. Slyly Touching '96

as a hextet, another user may get:
Obscene Tickling '77 ........... Astounding Cockerel '00
Spearthrust Ultrapants '04 .... Crusty Nigel '73
Vomit Wondercheese '99 ...... Monster Ringworm '95

for one hextet and:
Baffling Trouseritch STD '06 .. Slyly Touching '96
Nicely Plastered '47 ............. Crippling Manchunder '95
Worzel Gummidge '88 ........... Impressive Pastasauce RAGU '00

as the next. The order of the hextet is preserved, although the hextet itself isn't.
I am so getting the '00 RAGU :D

OK, interesting info. Do you know whether the order of the hextets is the same for every user? So the same hextet always follows the previous one?

ie. If user A gets hextet X, Y, Z will user B also get X, Y, Z in the same order?

Famine already answered your question.

There is no randomness beyond the start point. After that the list is predefined.

It is as simple as that. All we need to determine is how long the predefined list is.

Some overlay will be included.

My semester is starting today (I teach) so the frequency of my updates is likely to slow down (I'll keep at it though).

YouichiHophop I would say either PM me or make a post in this thread letting me know you've updated your online copy. There isn't a particular time that suits me best. My schedule is pretty erratic.

Any way, back on topic, I've managed to skip past the Integra Touring car twice by the looks of it :nervous:

Any one know what day the cycle repeats? Up and to finding all this info I've been using the license test skip randomly and have gotten to day 1072.
 
We don't know what day the cycle repeats. It looks like it is going to be over 10 years last time I looked.
 
Just found my place in the cycle... My save says "654 Days", and I'm getting matches for days 2265 through 2271 in the master list. The order of individual cars is really scattered compared to the master list, but I found that I had enough VERY unique cars to make it fairly easy to find my place in the sequence. Here's a partial screencap of the list which shows my day of acquisition in the far right column. I've color-coded by day, so it is obvious that my "hextets" are scrambled, but fairly predictable...

I seem to be right at a dead zone in the spreadsheet. Day 484/485. I have days 483-487(with the one car from 482) in my UCD right now. Is there any way I can help fill it in?

That is an older version. Check out the one in my sig for the most up-to date file. It looks like we've got most of the entries around there done. But keep an eye out if you hit a blank area as we always welcome contributors. 👍
 
Hello everyone, I'm new around here and just have a few questions.

1: How do I match up where I am to the list here? I know what day I am on, but I can't seem to find it in the list.

2: The R8 LMS Playstation car only shows up 3 times? Lol
 
I have the data for filling the master list from days 886 - 967.
That is about all the data I have for now as I'm at 988 days in my game.

I have put a row of X's where I may have a gap in the data and I would like pr0cy0n622 to double check these if you still have the data.

I also found some typos in pr0cy0n622's list.
On master list day 954 the car should be listed as an 300 Z instead of an 280.
The other is on day 957, the car should be the Fairlady from my list, it looks as though you copied the RX-7.

I added to my list where I double checked the available data from pr0cy0n622's list.

It's pretty much trial and error.
You have to compare your list of cars to the masterlist which can be found in either TornadoAlley's signature or use the link in pr0cy0n622's post.

I have updated the list. I didn't get visualface's 2000 day post in there yet.

I noticed the differences in your list 01GTP and corrected them. From what I could tell you didn't have any gaps in your data.
 
in the used car dealership do the cars have already driven mileage..??if yes,how mch..??
