Simple fact is I know that there are GT and Forza purists much like the one eyed fans we get in Australia but personally i'm fed up with all this nit picking with statistics like polygon counts. To be perfectly honest I am fortunate that I have clocked up many hours on both games and they are the two best games on the market. I mean of course I tend to prefer GT much likes I'd rather a Falcon over a Commodore but I'd take either of them anyday. I'm sure i'm not the only one.

Real auto enthusiasts enjoy the friendly banter but never take it seriously, and that goes for both Red vs Blue and GT vs Forza.
In that sense it is the same, you have real enthusiasts, but you also get the drunken bogans/interwebs noobs. Welcome to Planet Earth!

I agree on this view, mainly because like the Fords and the Holdens I like both GT5 and Forza 3 in their own unique ways.

I've always been told that if you live in Australia you're either a Ford Bloke or a Holden Bloke but I've never listened to those people. I find it hilarious when Ford and Holden people argue though. Never knew people could get so violent over a brand of car.

or in american terms, Ford versus Chevy. a permanent rivalry.

from someone who's had BOTH corporation's offerings, and knows their strengths and weaknesses, i'd settle ford vs Holden arguments by point out those weak spots that the other has covered. i hope holden doors don't jam shut like Chevy one's do.
