GT5 wow MOMENTS!

Ya that guy drifting did a pretty sweet lap. Drifting that circle part up hill gets pretty tough
 
Nordschleife in the early morning air. Love the smell of sunrise and everything becomes so clear.

Also, night racing, looking back to see the headlights of a car emerging from the darkness far away, tremorous.
 
driving through torrential rain during the night on the 24 Nurburgring endurance race.......single greatest wow moment in the history of video games :)

Well, self explanatory right? I know old idea but i just thought for a change it would be nice to appreciate the finer things kaz did in gt5. I'll start.

First time watching someone drift in GT5!

I would probably have to agree with you there. The drifting in this game is a huge step forward from Previous GT title's.

I actually find it easier going up the hill then I do going down... But yes it does have its tough points like getting a wheel off the bank at the bottom :scared:
 
Did a full 50 lap NASCAR race online with a great group of Racers! There was drafting, Acceptable bumping for posistion in turns, crashes and people using real pitting strategy! My palms sweated my arms were tired, my eyes were burning and I loved every minute!
 
My first wow moment was back there last december the first time online racing nurburgring night time.. wow...
the next one was parking near karrousel and watch the sunrise :D
 
There was a lot of wow moments for me, but most awesome was visiting photo travel places in real life and seeing how accurate they are in the game.

Going 60+ laps with a gap fluctuating betwen 4.5 and 0.5 secs at the Tsukuba 4 hr endurance race. That was one wow moment.

Then the next wow moment came when my PS3 froze after 1 hour 26 mins, I cut to the XMB to check on something and when I tried to go back to the game the XMB froze. A definitive wow moment of a whole other nature... :grumpy:
 
my wow moment was racing with full room of Japanese player online, and when all the cars taking the 1st corner without bumping to each other. pure orgasm to that. I love clean race, doesn't matter if you come first or last. Just good fun.

My race was going exactly like that up to about half-way, then my wheel went haywire and drove me into a wall for a while... fixed it then it did it again. So I lost a minute or so dealing with that and had to put sports softs on... came storming back, took the lead with a few laps to go, then ran out of tires and couldn't pull away again... never had more than a 10 second lead, won by about 3. Sorry you couldn't salvage yours.

The Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106 '65, it just rolls off the tongue doesnt it, is a wonderful car. It is a Cr10m beautiful go-kart with a scary habit of almost flipping over at the slightest touch of a kerb.
