Hello there!
First of all I'd like to apologize for my English. I haven't used this language on message boards for years.
)))
Well... we have a GT500 league with my friends and now i have a problem with car setup. Next Sunday we'll have a race on Monza - 100% humidity, , 27 laps (about 1 hour),
Rules:
fast fuel and tyre wear
loss of grip - realistic
drafting - low
only ABS allowed from drivers assists
GT500 cars
PP limit - none
power - 550KM / 404 kW / 542 bhp
weight - 1150kg / 2535 lbs
you cannot use the same car two times a row (so, I can't use weider HSV-010 on Monza)
I've never set up cars for very wet track. Could anyone help me with this?
First of all I have to choose right car for that kind of conditions. I assume that all of NSX-es will be much too nervous. I think Castrol Tom's Supra (Premium) could be quite good for this track (it's slow, but aero 50/70 gives great stability IMO).
How should I tune GT500 car for that kind of race? We did two short test races and my times were quite tragic (2:03,...). It's very easy to make a mistake (you only need to push full throttle and a spin is guaranteed). Maybe you know better cars for wet conditions (except weider HSV-010 which I cant use this time)?
Regards
Martin
