The Amuse is definitely one of the best cars. It was a real surprise to me when I saw how fast it was in some of the S class events. It's an awesome car.

Thanks by the way I printed this out. Please post the full thing when you get all the cars so I can print it out again :D

It should be done tomorrow, only 19 more cars I think. If you have any recommendations on how I should list everything, let me know. I can easily make different versions, like cars listed by stock PP or in alphabetical order by manufacturer.

Ya actually if you could post everything by highest STOCK performance points first that would be handy. Highest to lowest stock PP

The list is now done. There is also a list of all the cars sorted by their stock PP if you go to that link and scroll down.

The '02 Skyline is pretty crazy, it goes up almost 150 points when it's fully tuned! How did you get all these cars so quickly Turbo, did you get the game early or just play nonstop since you got it?

No wonder there was no reply, he got banned. What did he do? I didn't notice anything bad in any of his threads.

lol, I honestly don't know. Check out his posts from his profile and I don't see anything that would got him banned.

Was thinking of thanking him for this.....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I found a message on his site.......saying he was banned for unknown reason. I did posted his message here but I decided to edit it out instead. :nervous:

To give you guys some sort of public explanation, unfortunately Turbo91GT ignored a moderator request to refrain from publicising his own site in many of his posts. Although promoting your own forum/website is allowed to a limited extent - you are allowed to have a link in your signature for example - it is not acceptable to advertise other forums or attempt to boost your own site traffic through posting at GTP without specific authorisation. Normally, if someone is perceived to be doing this, they will be asked politely to stop. If they don't, they will probably receive an infraction (for advertising and/or ignoring a specific request by a moderator), and normally that is the end of it. Unfortunately in this case, a very clear instruction not to promote his own site was completely ignored, and the resulting infraction brought him an automatic ban.

Perfectly understandable :). If somewhat of a shame :ouch:.

Well... it's still a useful list.

I see.

In that case, may be the mods can lock this thread and taken his " GT5P Performance Points List" off this site; As I do not see a reason leaving this thread open and have GTP members here to continue to have access to his advertising.

If this guy were to post partial list with a message saying the complete list was only availible on his website to direct traffic there then I could understand the action taken. In all fairness though, he provided the complete list to GTP members and I have to say it's very useful.

I agree with you 100%. Some of the info he provided here is quite unique and useful. Sadly, it is not up to us users/members to decide what is deemed "advertising" and none of the users/members are participated in that decision making; so all we can do is to accept and move on.

I used to belong to a huge BF2 community and they promote the exchange of info and intel sharing from different sites. If people are consistently in fear of getting banned because they do not know what they posted is being deemed as advertising, no info will be exchanged in forums and we will all be leeches. Forums are there to promote the exchange of information and provide a meeting place for people who share the same interest; if no one shares information in a forum, a forum will be meaningless. I simply do not know how a piece of info is branded as a "threat" and it is not my job to decide or judge.

But hey, I am just a user and I don't run the joint. This is just my opinion.

If GTP thinks what he posted is advetising, GTP should immediately take it down, like this PP list he posted; but people who are looking for information just like that and hope to find it here will then be forced to go somewhere else.

lol, looks like Turbo has spoken to us from the grave....LMAO!

Oh, well now I know the full story and thanks for the PP list!

You guys are making fair points, and your feedback is appreciated 👍

Unauthorised advertising or redirecting people to their own forums/websites is something that is taken very seriously here, though, and Turbo91GT was given a clear instruction to refrain from posting links to his own site otherwise he would be banned.

I agree that if he had simply posted the list as it appears now then their wouldn't have been a problem. But the post originally also had a link and what looked extremely like a clear suggestion to visit his own site, which he had been warned about via Private Message:

Normally, advertisers are given a straight ban. You are being given a chance to become a contributing member, but one more mention of your site will result in a ban.

It may seem a bit harsh - not least because the content of the post is helpful/useful - but all we can do is hope that people take the hint when they are given a clear warning. Before his warning, perhaps he didn't realise that some of his posts were deemed inappropriate or over the line with regards to the rules of advertising, but that doesn't explain why he continued to do it after he was warned...

Unfortunately, since Turbo91GT has now decided to use the links in the original post in order to "speak to us from beyond the grave", I've got no choice but to remove them. Sorry guys.
