Whatever comes out after the investigation , i want to thank the organisers . @Stephen Vann for putting everything in place and @nissman for the specs and stewarding . I never been in such a tuff series , mostly there are 2 or 3 drivers involved in winning the series . but the specs made it very close every race , with very frustrating battles where sometimes you just CAN'T overtake .

The fact that everyone is getting faster is interesting , it just shows that beeing involved in a competition with many people around you , makes people improve their driving in every way! Races last season been very confusing sometimes but this season almost everyone was clean and keeping their line .

So thanks again guys , been a great season ;)

Was a great series, a fantastic final with Erazer and AUG tying on points for the top spot.
We still have Augs pit exit to be looked at, however fantastic it was so close in the end.

So congrats to Erazer and Aug, and also everyone that attended every race.

Thanks to Niss for making the handicaps so close, and also to Erazer for taking
much time in checking the replays for infringements.

The final points tally and prizes etc will be sorted as soon as stewards have decided any penalties for Race 16.
I will email and sort them out after the final decision has been made.

I have to say, that all the issues and delayed starts we had during the season was very painful,
and i thank you all for sticking with it.

So we now have ended the series, we have plans for a new series, although we dont seem to have the numbers
signed up at the moment -
NEW SERIES THREAD OPEN FOR ENTRIES

We currently have everything set to run the same as we do now, but we are open to any changes
if you feel they would be workable.

    Race 16 Notes.

    RE INCIDENT T1 and T3 T4

I did try to get into T1 as fast as i could as i knew the guys behind me would be
coming inside me if i didn't go as fast as i could.

I did overcook it, and slid into Monkey, who was also a sliding in a similar fashion,
so i full admit i was at fault, and i am sorry Monkey.

I also got a little tap from behind in T1 that also didn't help, but T1 was

I went ob up into T3 and the car went sideways, i was out of control, when i went OB to the right on the green stuff i lifted, because i was heading for the white wall, and i was out of control, i was also out of bounds on the green AstroTurf.

At that point i was just trying to avoid the white wall ahead, without wanting to just dive back into the track, but i hit the wall, that slowed me down and also knocked me into the middle of the track.

At that point people were streaming past me, and i did not try to force my way at all,
i gave room to those who were around me, i didn't try to overtake monkey into the corner at the end of the kemmel, i tried to give him room.

Then Delta came through a bit hot and i went gravely.

Anyway, many apologies to anyone who suffered, i certainly only tried to do the correct thing, and in no way did i try
    to take any advantage.

    About the track list situation:

Mid-Field had been a close finish too, would be great to see it back on the calendar.
Also there weren't any close GT500 finishes at Fuji where niss won by 10+ sec twice.

Niss has said he wont be racing again, and he originally made up the list, so any changes are ok.

What an epic long season, thanks to every driver taking part especially to Log for organising and the regulars for being there every week no matter if they are fast that week or not. Many ups and downs, it's difficult to run a handicap series and keep everyone happy and to have two seasons and a half with solid grid numbers in a dying GT6 game is pretty amazing.

Few races come to mind (Monza last season, GVS, Indy) where I can say these were one the best races I ever been a part of. Very close battles every week especially in Q, tough strategy battles on track monday nights, very intensly fun series, I enjoyed every bit.

This season tied for 1st in points is just insane, hats off to Aug and Eras for putting on a show whole season, amazing pace in the heavy Lex car, also amazing consitentcy from the rookie @jontikis, I have to admitt you made me work harder in second part of season as the pace was getting faster every week.

I must also mention, this series has been the best in tune sharing, our tunes here have got to a point where I personally am over a second faster on some tracks then with my previous tunes.

At this moment I'm taking a break from GT. There are a few reasons but mostly because my GT6 cd is so used that yesterday before Spa race it took me 35min just to start the game, this happens every day sometimes it takes 15 min some times 40min and honestly im fed up just to start a game where we have issues with 8 players in lobby and it takes us another 45min just to start the race. I'm am not buying a new cd just before GTS for which Im saving money for at the moment.

Thanks ever so much for the races gentleman.

I'll not be checking the replay, I don't have time until thur's. I know of one incident I went ob and never breaked :guilty:

 only joking  I wasn't sure what happened, still don't. I know from racing and practicing with you over the past 2 season's that it wasn't deliberate. All is good . A part of me thinks I may have turned into you the replay will tell. Funny thing is I had said to my mate just before the race that I was confident I'd get through the 1st few corner's ok. Knowing you to normally be a fair and clean racer. Although there was a chance you might try something on the 1st corner  not that :)

Many Many Thanks For everthing  It was the 1st championship series I've took part in and I was hooked after the 1st few races. I did miss the WRS and had planned to return to it after 1 season but the races just kept getting better. I've really enjoy myself and have had a great time. It's had it's high's and low's, you can't now true happiness without knowing Sadness, C'est la vie. I have no idea how much I'll be able to take part in next season I will return this summer in full. And as long as I can ensure I've Monday's free I'll be staying for as long as I can. Thanks again Stephen been great cya soon on track. Could you post or message details on the stealth car and a track your going to test it on. I'll hop on in a few day's maybe sunday and try it.

@nissman I can understand a little the move to iracing, Gt6's connections, GTSport F ing delay, with iracing's No of car's on track etc. It's unfortunate your leaving the series I wish you many race victories in the furture. We've had our moments some bad mostly good :) those I'll rememebr are the close tight battle's we've had during practice. Sometimes side by side through 2 or 3 corners :scared: and not even touching :) Have really enjoyed racing with you and Many Thanks to you  The series was brilliant and most of the racing heart poundingly awsome. I wish you all the best my friend has been great

Every1 else can go to hell

No seriously every1 It wouldn't have been the same without you all it's been great. Some funny moments, some crazy one's, amazing one's overall really enjoyable one's.

Just noticed I've taken an Hour to write this. Have to rush take care hope to see you all on track again soon. Will put together a little montage of photo's over the next week of the season as a little thank you.

This series was definitely my greatest experience in online racing! Tough battles with ultra fast but also clean drivers and crazy competition. I enjoyed every race and every battle I gave with you guys! The effort I put all these months was so big and the satisfaction after yesterday's finish was immense. Hats off to all of you! :gtpflag:

    @Stephen Vann @nissman
Many congratulations mates! In my view, you probably offered the best organised series in the whole community here. Niss, be sure you will always be in my highlights of this nice journey, from the great duels at Suzuka and Monza until the most immense duel we had yesterday at Spa. ;)

    @TRL_Andromeda @DrAug
I was slower than you on most occasions, but, as a youngster rookie, I believe I made a good impression to both of you!

I'm not planning to continue for the next season, as I want to take a break from the continuous testing and action I was put all these weeks. I will chill out in Gran Turismo 4 mostly, maybe Gran Turismo 3 if I manage to find it in a good price in Amazon and buy it using the prize. But possibly that's not going to happen as I'm inexperienced as :censored: in these kind of processes. :dunce:

Best wishes to all of you! You will notice me when I will be giving some sporadic likes in the next season's thread :D

@Stephen Vann yes I looked at the replay just there, I spun you out after getting slightly thrown by the kerb, if I had been just inches further off the kerb I think all would have been ok, damn.

But anyhow I don't wish to end on a downer, this has been another good series. I think numbers have dropped a little, I guess other commitments, changing schedules and the fact that this game is getting old as well as the servers being rubbish all have an influence!

For me, I had a tuning revelation mid way through the series and now with 20bhp less than when this series started I feel I'm still competitive. I'm still hyped at getting FL in Fuji, and finishing 2nd twice (once at 550bhp, once at 530bhp) is a great achievement for me, given the competition!

Thanks ALL for the great racing, and to all fellow GTR drivers especially. Also it is always an honour to share a track with any and all TRL drivers, the best of the best drivers of a franchise I love, for me it is very cool - I am aware I sound like a little fangirl here lol, but cheers guys

But most of all @nissman @Stephen Vann @TRL_Andromeda thanks for the stewarding and running of the series, top work, and also those who Observed the Q's

Lastly @jontikis - nice work on the stats :)

    Well, Stewards review -
    -1pt PENALTY for TRL_AUGH
    crossing pit exit line.

So so so harsh, but sadly we have had this rule in place all series and it would be wrong to ignore it
even if it changes the outcome, Aug i am so sorry.

No problem @Stephen Vann ... It's funny to see that I lost 2 points in 2 races due to crossing pit exit lane ...

    Well done @TRL_Andromeda !

Thanks. feels odd tho, you have been the stronger one all season, so I would still say you are the moral winner :p
Yes, you've been very good all season, then in the last 2 races cut the line, such a shame.
It is what it is. I lost 2 pts at GRV due to contact with Kostas, a race you went on to win, so that was 2 very unnessecery penalty points.

In the end, this was one of the toughest series I've ever done, you always seemed to be 1 step ahead and I had to push it to the max to keep up.

Similar thing happened in EGT season 9 where you Dc'd in last round Eras and I won the championship. It didn't feel right but it is what it is.

What matters we had some proper races and an amazing season.

It was another erratic season for me for quite a few reasons. It's not the circuits themselves, but much more to do with the setup I prefer which really does require bumper view in order to give very precise feedback to predict what the car is going to do....when you can't align the foreground with what's beyond a given point of reference, it's almost impossible to do drive mistake free (running wide, losing the back end etc). With a more forgiving car or setup or even roof view, you can choose either to minimise this issue when visibility is a problem on many corners. On tracks I was at one with, I just made silly mistakes when top four finishes were on the cards a couple of times.

Winning at Trial Mountain was pleasing especially against a strong field. Having driven the Lexus for quite a while now, the win seemed quite normal! Or maybe I'm getting on where most things just seem normal anyway....some were laughing not so long ago when I wasn't going well in the Lexus.....and just like what a famous man said a lot of months ago "you're not laughing now!"

The series seems to have quite a lot of stability, with returning drivers ever improving, so it's good to see those that not only do it for fun, but really want to improve as well.

And thanks once again to Niss and Logic for organising, stewarding and spec-ing...not that there's much need to steward now anyway! It is really appreciated what goes into it to to make it happen, and on top of driving for yourselves too.

And thanks to Erazer and Aug for encouraging me to keep pushing with setups and making new discoveries every season. I certainly hope we were all helpful to each other in some way sharing stuff in the little GTR/Lexus war!

There is suppose to be a big annoucment today from GTSport, either it's the release date or that Porsche will be included in the game, or both.

Hud image for GTS leaked, looks amazing, lots more information on sectors and lap times
