GT6: B-Spec betting shop

For those of you who played GTA: San Andreas back in the day you might remember there was a
betting shop where you could place bets on horses and boost your money / credits total.

I suggest a feature similar to this for GT6-7 where you can place bets on your own
B-Spec driver or an opposing driver (s).

It doesn't have to be a "shop" per se but just a screen to place bets before the race.

Bets can be placed on who wins, top 3, top 5, most overtakes and such and such,
with odds based on PP and tyres, FF, FR and whatever else comes into the equation.

There is actually a relevant comparison here.

I remember playing Nascar 07 on PS2 and the game had an option before the races where you could place bets on all the drivers and the drivers were ranked in different categories and odds were calculated accordingly.

It was real fun and I remember being disappointed when Nascar 08 was released and they had omitted the betting feature. :ouch:

It seemed to work just fine for EA Sports. They incorporated a betting type system into their Nascar 07 title and made it suitable for three-year
olds.

..........Hah, those liberal Europeans!! :D How dare they corrupt innocent youths with temptation of gambling??!!

On a more serious note, many regions place restrictions on gambling. Dunno how a simulated gambling is viewed, but if I was a betting man (heh) I would risk my couple o' cents on "not very fondly."
 
Then, on the back of the box, it would say 'Gambling'. Imagine if a child says:
"For Christmas I want GT7"
"No, Timmy, you'll turn into your father".
