GT6 (BUGS) Fully Custom Transmissions, Logictech G25 G27 Wheels

Three things that are wrong with the Fully custom transmissions with any car.


1. When using a custom transmission with my Logitech G25 wheel the shifter will not work to select gears. The sequential pedals on the wheel or setting the shifter to sequential mode does allow one to change the gears. But the gated H style setting on the shifter doesn't work at all. This wheel of mine has had no hardware problems of any kind seance i have owned it, the shifter part works fine on stock or close ratio 5 or 6 speed transmissions but NOT Fully Custom ones.

Note: This bug also effects the G27 Wheel.


2. I noticed when trying to change my gear ratios at the track in a single player race caused the game to lag out and my HD light to go berserk, which made editing the gear values almost nearly imposible. My guess is every time the gear ratios change on the car the game is reloading the car on the track that is being driven by the AI driver.


3. When adjusting the gear ratios the top speed is not shown so you have to kinda make a guess and try out the setup to see if your at the right top end. (I realized this has probably been addressed)

This post I did back regarding V.1.07 about clutch/H-shifter may be of interest....
...issues seem to remain unresolved as of V.10.9, and present in GT6 since V.1.0.

It affect a variety of cars, including both standard and premium.

G25/G27 are not only wheels with clutch/H-shifter affected.
Same occurs with T500 RS and Fanatec wheels equipped with H-shifters.
