I personally am not having much problem but a lot of us in the group are.

Red Bull Ring disconnects most of us when you start the race.

Other problems are:

Random player disconnects
Cant see all the drivers on the track
Cant hear other drivers.
Parts of the track disappear

Anybody out there know anything or figure out a fix.

Seems to plague GT5 and GT6.

Other game companies have figured it out.

Not sure why PD can't.

my group only has a mass disconnect on mt panorama. only other issue we have not had is track disappearing. got no idea how to fix it.

If you disable the red part before to open the room, most of blue parts will be fixed 👍
No mics helps a lot to have better room quality.

If the race quality is lowered I wonder if that would help. From High Quality to Standard maybe. Mics to Low.

I try next time we are on messing around.

I have thought about turning the mics off for a test.

Myself and a couple of others i regularly play with have tested different race quality/chat options, it is hit and miss at times. We usually end up at low quality chat/standard race quality. If it's a particularly bad night for 1 player (runs a 4g connection) we'll drop to 2 star race quality. Sometimes though, lowering the race quality to the lowest point can be more temperamental than standard quality mode. Just make sure everyone's cleaned their cache and made sure their internet is not experiencing any major problems latency wise (I've found torrents on the same network will cause dramas for GT6 online play at times)

It'd be nice if they revisit the net code of the game and refine it a tad more than its current form.

All in-game music off for all players, mics off, & wired connections for all players. This will solve most issues.

You have tested this ?

I agree with the use ethernet only connection, but turning mics off kind of defeats the point of meeting with regulars, hence why we lower voice quality to utilise less bandwidth. As for music off, i have all of it deleted anyways as it's annoying but still, it doesn't fix the connection problems, and i honestly don't see how in-game music would affect the net code aspect of the game? must be very very poor programming if it does as it should be local machine only.

You have tested this ?

No, not in GT6. However, these were known issues in GT5, & lots of bugs have been carried over. In GT5, this advice helped many people improve their connections. Try it & see.
