After that, go to Save Design to save the custom design.
After selecting the custom car or a color for the car, you will be given an option to choose the transmission type, then you can personalize your avatar with all the racing gear you have available, or choose out of all manufacturer and car-unique racing gear. In order to add more racing gear to Arcade Mode, you should buy racing gear not featured from the Racing Gear feature on "Tuning and Maintenance".

Quick-Tuning will have this criteria:
Power:
Within car’s maximum tuning limit, for some cars that can’t reach 50% of their original power or can’t be tuned in simulation mode, their power will be tuneable by up to 50%, for electric vehicles and non-tuneable Vision GT cars, double their original power
Weight:
Within car’s maximum tuning limit, and for cars that can't have their weight dropped (e.g. race cars and several tuned and concept cars), their weight can be dropped by up to 20% of their weight.
Transmission:
Can be adjusted freely up to an auto set top speed of 500KM/H, can be adjusted further, and you can also choose whether you want to use the default transmission, five speed or six speed transmission or a fully customizable transmission on cars with customizable transmission kits.
Suspension:
Tuning for ride height and spring rate will be within the car’s limits. You can also freely adjust the damper, anti-roll bar, camber and toe angle settings.
Brakes:
You can freely adjust the brake balance and you can choose whether you want racing brakes on cars with customizable brakes.
Drivetrain:
You can choose whether to apply a car with a fully customizable LSD unit, add twin or triple plate clutches, and torque split/AYC for 4WD cars.
Downforce:
Within the car’s limit
Ballast:
Can be freely adjusted
Others:
You can also improve the body rigidity and put nitrous on the car and adjust nitrous settings.
(NOTE: You can save up to 200 tuning set-ups per car, just go to "Load Tuning Setup", and choose one out of 200 that you made. Go to "Copy Settings" if you want to copy certain settings or "Save Settings" if you're happy with the set-up. You can even re-name the setup.)

BMW M3 GT2 Base Model '11: Win at least one race with the BMW M3 GT2 (BMW Motorsport) '11. It is a recommended car for when you start Arcade Mode for the first time.
Gran Turismo Lunar Roving Vehicle LRV-001 '71: Get at least all gold medals in the Lunar Exploration.
BMW M4 Frozen Black Metallic: Ultra rare car, can only be obtained before a hot-fix in Version 1.06.
Time Rally Mode and Circuito de la Sierra: Get at least a bronze medal in any Sierra Time Rally event. This will also unlock Time Rally Mode for every single track in the game.
All DLC cars along with all their default colors will end up in the game immediately once installed.
