Hey,
I can try to post a video soon, but for now the video below demonstrates it if you look carefully.
When he stops the care in GT5 the wheel has no movement.
When he stops the car in GT6 is bounces from left to right. On my wheel CSWV2 it does it even more violently. Had my wheel since Xmas and not new to wheels, but this force feedback is screwed up. Severely.
Tested GR5/Grid Auto/ F1 2014 etc and the wheel is spectacular. But GT6 just feels like it's going mental and has no clue on what it's doing.
It bounces left to right, but as time goes on it actually perpetuates like a pendulum getting stronger and stronger.
In the video above you can see GT5 wheel is not oscillating, at all, under any circumstances.
Watch when he moves to GT6 (ignore the fact he is reporting a seperate error) and watch the red strip on the top centre of the wheel when the car is completely stationary (before he tests the power steering and even after/during) the car is stationery, but the wheel bounces left to right.
For him it's not so bad, but present. For me it's very pronounced. I literally can't play the game because of this? I can move back to GT5 no problem, but why did they break this and ruin a pretty decent game that I enjoyed and can now no longer invest in?
Also, I font get the brad pitt reference? I'm confused
I'm using all the latest updates, patches, firmware etc.
I have tried every combination of settings, but after exhaustive testing, I have settled on using torque 3 or 4 and sensitivity on 1 (this gives me the least ossicaltion, any higher and it goes absolutely ballistic), and I means seriously outrageously insanely fast and hard, bouncing from left to right even when stationary?
I have steering set to simulation and all aids off, I have power steering disabled and have tried all settings on my wheel (even tried setting at 100 dead zone) and this did nothing? The wheel had a big deadzone for actually turning, but the oscillation was still present.
If it's knackckered, so be it... I'll just play GT5 but what have they fine, why and instead of breaking it like this to suit a few, why not have an option for "original feedback" and "advanced feedback" where users can stick to the original (and universally acclaimed default feedback, while others can tweak if they want to.
Doing this has only resolved a few issues for sone, while creating new issues for others? Don't remove features, add to them by creating an "advanced" option.
Love the game, but unfortunately it's just unplayable in its current format and I'm hoping for a fix/solution or even a work around in the short term.
