GT6 launching date

I would normally go with November, but I suspect that's when we will get Forza Motorsport 5, so they may push for October to keep it from being lost in the launch period.

Just curious as to why you expect FM5 in November?

FM3, FM4 and Horizon all launched in October

Well, it depends when the Xbox One will be released. The Xbox 360 released in November, so that may be the month again for the Xone and force FM5 to release in November, unless you think an Xbox One game can release before the actual console.

Ok.. that makes sense. I had no idea when the Xbox360 was released. I had 0 interest in it at the time.

My first encounter with the XBox was playing Forza 2 on my brothers 360, I wasn't really impressed with the offline mode but after a couple of online races around the ring I ended up buying an Xbox 360 and a copy of Forza 2.
 
I have bought and played all of the normal versions of GT ( ie GT1-5 ) and although i dont know about GT1, i can tell you that GT2/3/4&5 were all delayed, I hope GT6 come out on time, but dont get your hopes up guys, not yet, they themselves said they are still working on it, its PD remember.
 
I saw the Playstation advert again on UK TV last night and paid more attention. It ran through a few games like Last Of Us and Splinter Cell and after each one it gave a release date. Last Of Us obviously said out now, Splinter Cell August 23rd, another game I can't remember in November and then at the end is showed GT6 with the text 'This Christmas'.

So there you go, expect late November into December.
 
I pre-ordered GT6 from EB Games & was told release date is 0ct. 31. Hopefully that's true.
 
Missing Christmas sales would be a monumental fail. I say Nov 27. They can't miss Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

I'd be more inclined to believe an official Sony commercial than a retailer. All of the big retailers all get their release date info from the same suppliers so it's highly unlikely one knows and the others don't.

If retailers thought they could get away with it Christmas would start in January.
 
11-19-13 for NA, they will likely want the game on the shelves for the busiest shopping day of the year, the day after Thanksgiving. And they probably don't want to make it earlier than that because they will need time for distribution and:
