GT6 National A Electric car help

I'm very new to the GT gaming and GT6 is my current project.
I need help with the electric circuit Matterhorn Race. (race 2)
I 'm using the Prius G 09' and can't get past 2nd place. No problem with the other 2 races, just this one.
I would appreciate any feedback.

Use the CRZ or Honda Insight 99. They have proper gearboxes which helps immensely on that uphill run.

Even 7 years ago..; Draggon's Tip is a smart one!!!

I am not that much a fan of E-Cars, but:
The CR-Z is a "BEAST" ...compared to other Electrics.

As Draggon said; you can tweak the Gears... and MORE.
The Price isn't much higher than others (i guess it was arround 24.000)
Get it... and the 3 Events are yours.
