Gt6 ps3 updates wont install. Cant play game

Hi all reset ps3 to default and now cannot play gt6. Tried installing updates one by one which also did not work. This is the only game which i cannot play but the only game i want to play. Anyone have a solution

If you reset the PS3 to default settings, you need to update the firmware before updating anything else.

Had to reinstall game. Tried disc copy. Brought digital copy. Both tried to install the updates but always ends up with ' there was an error in installation.' Delete everything- redo. Same thing happens. Wont let me play offline without the updates either. Says must do them to proceed. Ps3 system is up to date. Trying digital copy again.

Is there enough space on the hard drive? These bits of info would have been helpful when you created the thread instead of having to have been asked for further information.

Am sorry about that. Never posted before. How much space does it need? I can't recheck at the moment but its at least 35gb free. Got a 80gb console. Only other things on the harddrive apart from the game are things like the playstation store and you tube and max 4 other games data. Really only play gt6. Had ps3 for a long while but all other games work with no problems.

Also this is the only digital game on there. The others are disc copies

Ok thanks. I have checked all those links and have been trying to resolve this for about a week now. Each time takes ages and the last time actually got to the last 3 updates before the error. Thanks for the help though. Going to delete and start again i think.
