So would I. I might sign up for that page a bit later and actually ask them if it's an actual confirmation or just a estimate on their behalf. If it is right though then woo-hoo I can't wait and very happy it say's PS3 next to the products name.

I registered and it will not let me actually post where it say's comment at the bottom of the page. I clicked that link it allowed me to type a comment and then when I hit post it gave me a confirmation that my (Thread) had been posted, with no comment on that page in site and no hint at where this thread landed.

Ok my post now has shown up.

Well if there is any truth whatsoever in the 2012 date that kind of proves the GT6 will be on PS3 not PS4 discussion !
 
That´s the best thing they can do to redeem themselves. I love Gran Turismo, but I fell that no matter how many patches and DLC they add to GT5, it will never be the game that most expected. Plus that will only hold them back in the development of GT6.

Creating a new game for a new console will only lead to where we are at this moment. An over-criticized, delayed and "unfinished" game. PD has mastered the PS3´s hardware usage and they have plenty of material to make a new game. Id say this is the best thing they can do. This wuld leave us with a beautiful, near perfect game so they can work on the future console´s sequel with no pressure from their fandom whatsoever.
 
It's just a pre-emtive hook for a game they know will be out sometime in the future. Look how many of us have visited the page - advertisers like hits. :sly:
 
Ok I posted on the page itself and sent them a personal e-mail, I may also head to their forums to see if I can get an answer out of any mods or whoever runs the site. Just to see if they use placers for dates or if they only post product release dates when they have information from a definite source.

Even if this is legit, I highly doubt they will tell you. Just think what it would happen. But good luck anyway :)

But take this in consideration. This is just the first hint on GT6´s release, just try and go back and remember how many possible release dates GT5 had. Most of these were even official release dates. I wouldn´t get too excited because a website just posted a modified GT4 logo with a 6 on it.

But I have to be honest, things like these don´t come out just because... Something might be going on... who knows.
 
i highly doubt it, kaz said they'll be releasing DLC for GT5 into 2012 so i doubt GT6 will be out next year, i'd guess another 2/3 years for it.

I know they won't I just like to question people on stuff that they say until they show me proof but I hope they do at least answer to me even if not an actual answer to my question's.

This is the way I'm looking at it. If it is going to be for PS3 then they will need to release it either in 2012 or 2013, as Microsoft has already been gearing up for their next system and I doubt Sony will want them to get such an early leap as the 360 got on the PS3.

Truthfully this new's isn't too exciting to me as I'm still very much enjoying GT5 (playing right now actually) but I'm sure the GT6 bug will sink it's teeth in more as time goes by. I just want to know if there is any truth to their post and will be hoping for the best. :sly:
 
This shows clearly that GT6 will be released in 2015. It's just maths -> 1st release date announcement + 3 years or something = real release date. So 2012 + 3 = 20...15!

The whole PS4 discussion was pretty stupid to begin with. I doubt we'll see a new console for atleast 4 or so more years.
 
One has to be a fool to think there's any truth behind that release date. GT5 has only been out for a year, Kaz has just announced new DLC will arrive for GT5 every two months, and 2012 is just around the corner. I mean, wake up!

Unless they'll make a Forza move and release the next game every two years. That will be quite impressive for GT.
 
2012 doesnt sound that wrong. The downloads are beginning to be really large so a GT6 could be GT5 with all the updates, tracks, more premiums, newer cars, better graphics, sound, updated tracks, qualifying, damageengine, Porsche and so on that it wont be able to be a dlc for all new to the game. At the same time its a step closer to a easier transition to PS4 in GT7. If you think of GT3 vs GT4 its not much changed, today that would be a DLC, so GT5 to GT6 will be larger update if they update all of the above things (like BF2 to BF3).

Come to think about it, sounds like what gt5p was going to do. Pay a little bit to get a premium game.
 
Personally I had never heard of game pressure before this.

How many others here knew of this site and how many haven't.

I highly doubt a 2012 release. I think no matter how hard Sony pushed PD, Kaz would put his foot down at a Call of Duty release cycle. That is, unless they gave him an army of qualified help. In the interest of (dare I say) "being competitive" with the F franchise, my chips are laid on November 2013, with Forza 5 coming six months later. I think the schedule will be much like we've seen this year. This is what Sony would like but, with the Kaz factor we're probably looking at November 2014. All of this is my humble opinion, and highly speculative.

4 years? are you serious? I mean the PS3 (and the X360) are already way behind PC games... 4 years?? Can you imagine how game developers must program different games for each platfrom (what they did aready but anyway, its a massive difference then)...

About GT6... Will never happen... Not before 2014 I bet... What will they bring in 2012? GT6 with only 600 standards and 400 premiums?
