I was in a thread about tracks you don't want in Gt6 and i seen SSR7 and X which i don't like and im sure not much other people like. But then i thought about SSR11 that has been missing since i know for a fact gt4.

So SSR11 Bring it back or no?

I for one would love to see this track back into the game as i think it was fun and very technical.

Yes, bring it back! It's a no brainer really. Rarely have I seen a negative comment regarding the track, so it's clearly popular. If it were brought back though I personally would prefer the GT1 version to the GT3 version. Emerging unscathed from that chicane in the tunnel is always a good feeling!

I see no point in not bringing back tracks that have already been modeled to a PS3 standard...especially since each track supposedly takes two years of manpower to produce.

ive never drove the GT1 version actualy due to when i started playing. I started playing like at the end of gt2 and beginning of gt3 So i just know the Gt3 version which i loved. Personally i would like the actually layout of 3 with mabey a good old tunnel like Gt1 had to give u that good feeling :). but if i remember right there was like a few U turns by some bright lit tree's which i loved running by. :)

SSR11 hasnt been modeled for ps3 yet either. So they would have to re-do it.

Id love to see what this track looks like though on a re-modled ps3 and i don't think it would take as long as the tracks there already adding for GT6 because its not a real track and so they could make up the terrain as they wish.

:)

That section with the brightly lit tree's in GT3 replaced the tunnel section from GT1. In the middle of the tunnel section was a lethal double-chicane which was tough to navigate through, due to it being very fast and the barriers being very close to one another. Personally I favour it over what replaced it in GT3 due to it being more challenging, which makes it more enjoyable. Watch this video (it's not my video), you'll see the difference...

It's easy enough to have both versions. There's just a simple stretch of road that needs to be added to the GT1 version and you have both.

hmm that tunnel section is kinda cool. I feel like PD should add both like how they have i think 4 different capes rings.

Make SSR5, SSR5(Short), SSR7, SSR7 (Chicane)

Something like that

Although i do like the GT1 version more

Yes, but Kaz needs to put a time trial, or a license test with the TVR Griffith on this track, be like old times

It's a good idea actually and it wouldn't be at all difficult for them to implement both versions. In fact it's now common place for PD to add multiple versions of various tracks; Fuji Speedway 80's/90's, for example. Also in the previous two games they've had Circuit de la Sarthe in two guises; one with the chicanes on the Mulsanne straight and one without. So they could easily do the same with SSR11, should they chose to include the track at all.

Yes!!!
They could also mix all the SS tracks together to make one massive track, you start on SSR7, then onto SSR5 and SSR7 mixed, then around the SSRX bend and back onto the straight.

I think there was a thread about all the tracks not in GT5, and it had a few tracks with an actual map made by the GTP community, e.g SS city.

If this track is so great, why is it missing from the last two Gran Turismos?

Because... Kaz.
Tahiti maze was awesome, but it was left out of GT5.
Don't diss the classics!

By that logic why are Red Rock Valley and Grindewald only in GT2? Why is Midfield not in GT5? Why was Rome absent from GT4 and then changed to a different layout in GT5? Just because a track is not in the game doesn't mean it's not a good track.

Oh man, Tahiti Maze was... amazing. Although I prefer the Dirt Route 3 version from GT2. So sad that that's never been seen again :/

But yeah, SSR11 needs to come back. It would glorious, given how good SSR5 looks in GT5.

Don't forget Swiss alps! Technically we already have the Swiss Alps in the form of Eiger, but still... The high-speed downhill section was awesome!

Does anyone remember someone saying that Eiger and Swiss Alps were actually close together in GT?

^ We need that for GT6, BIG TIME! :D Two layouts of that with reverse please.

yes we do need it and i think i should send a request of this to PD..they do read them things.

Only problem with this course is it would be really bad on tires i would think if a enduro was done on it.

XD

That'll be epic! It'll be like the "All Night" endurance event from GT1, but xtreme.
