hello, I present something that I don't know if it is normal, my game is bcus(98296) so as it appears in the installation guide it is compatible with the mod, but when trying to install spec II, I don't get the PDIPFS folder so I don't have anywhere to paste the mod files, does anyone else have this version of the game? or I have to look for another one (in you know where🏴‍☠️)

Edit: The folder with the data is BCUS99247, guys; the '98' one is for the updates. Still, it's useful to know that the game files (where the mod goes) and the updates are in separate folders

I have that version too. The installation folder is specified in the mod's installation guide, take a look:

1. Copy 9 and K folders from PDIPFS_SPEC folder and paste into the directory:
hdd0:\game\<your game ID>\USRDIR\PDIPFS\ open PDIPFS folder to paste 9 and K inside it

It appears in this "game" folder, in lowercase. This is the folder where the game is installed:
hdd0:\game\

I hope this hepls

Hello i got some questions about the 1.6 version, i didn't updated to 1.7 version
First, between temporary and full damage, does one of the two version have a more difficult AI, or do they both have the same difficulty?
And second, i guess the Online mod connects to Irekej's server, right?
I've been playing this mod for about 1 month and it really makes gt6 a lot enjoyable, although i have some suggestions I’d like to discuss at another time, but excellent work.
Hey, both versions 1.6 and 1.7 share the same difficulty level; some events undergo adjustments, but they follow the same line of reasoning,
but I ended up opting to remove the version with temporary damage; only the permanent damage option is available now.
Yes, the online version does indeed connect to the Irekej server.

Hello, i have been playing this mod for a couple of months in my spare time, and i have reached mid International A events for now.
There are a lot of positives about the mod, such as the car noises, the variety of events, the sheer amount of content available, the restored cars, the grid starts, the number of cars in events, and i could go on and on.

But i found a couple of things that are not as enjoyable as they could be; for example, the AI seems to be very toxic on the road, sometimes it feels like a forza open lobby, especially with faster and more technical cars (600+ pp MR race cars); they ram into you and ruin races / championships, which is very frustrating, considering the lenght of those, and the pace of the AI, that don't let you recover.

This is directly linked to the fact that the AI cars seem to be a lot "heavier" on contact than yours: it takes only the lightest of contact for them to make you spin out, but you can't take them out, no matter how good your pit manouver technique is (trust me, i was so frustrated i even tried); this is both a good and a bad thing, because on one hand, it encourages good driving on your behalf, but on the other it makes races unbalanced and frustrating. These things are still present in the early game, but a lot more forgivable, considering the cars are slower and the events are shorter. It would be great to have, for example, still the fast AI, without the aggressive overtakes and blocking (maybe tone that a bit down, not turning it off completely), so they can still have crazy fast lap times without ruining your races. About the "weight" thing, it wouldn't be a problem if the AI behavior is fixed, and maybe it would even be a good thing to have, as i said.

There are other smaller things, that i don't know if they have already been fixed, since i am playing a december version, such as the length of some races (like 60 or some laps of willow springs in the nascar series, which is like 1h30m, half an endurance for 3 stars; for example, one rainmasters race is 25m and grants you with the same 3 stars).
Anyways, i have been enjoying this mod a lot, and i still thank you for all your work in taking out the full unused potential of GT6, and making it the great game that it could have been.
Hi, yes, I'm aware of that AI toxicity during races; I'm looking into ways to make it more natural and less toxic for future versions.
As for the stars, there is a standard pattern in the game, there are only three options: receiving 3 stars, receiving 1 star, or receiving no stars. This is not related to the race time or difficulty.
In any case, thank you for the observation and for sharing, helping to make this better for everyone.

I see... well, maybe i'll let B-Spec Bob take the wheel after 20 or so laps of willow springs, if he can even keep up with the ai lol
