Just a discussion thread on what possible trophies we could get in GT6.

What kind of trophies do you think we'll get?
Will they follow a similar trend to GT5 or will they be totally different?
What trophies do you think should be in GT6?

Should they be based on accomplishments or collections of cars/paint chips? Etc
 
First Question:
1. Gold all events.
2. Match a specific world record in a car of PD's choice
3. X amount of CR earned

I believe the trend will be similar to GT5. I believe only offline trophies should be awarded in GT6. Accomplishments would be my choice.
 
Gosh I really hope that this is something that will be expanded on. I mean GT is the kind
of game that should have X times 100 trophies. But I don't expect much since this isn't something that is that much required.
 
I have never paid attention to trophies but some that might catch my attention would be cumulative trophies for online racing. Could be as simple as victories with trophies for 10,100, 200 etc. victories online but I'm sure they could come up with something more creative if they put their minds to it.
 
Really they could probably use 90% of the same trophies as GT5 and I wouldn't complain at all.
 
I just hope they get rid of the b-spec related trophies, ain't nobody got time for that. Also I don't care much about trophies, specially if it's Gran Turismo
 
I would assume that the trophies would be similar to GT5's, as I can't imagine GT6's game structure to vary too much from GT5's.

However, some new, more interesting Hidden Trophies could be quite a fun addition :)
 
I think the trophies will stay relatively the same. The main changes will be those not directly related to the main career. Such as the hidden one's you could find in Photo-mode, the GT-R lap record and others such as Drifting and winning a race with X car verses X car. Those are the kind that will differ.

What I'd quite like to see though, would be a totally refreshed list. For example, Licenses. We're obviously going to see these again, and instead of getting a trophy for simply completing each one, you earn a trophy for getting Gold in each one.

A bit more trophies when it comes to the actual racing would be fun, too. Winning a large amount of races in a certain series, or completing a large variety of races in series such as FIA GT3, Rally, NASCAR, Formula GT, Le Mans Prototypes, Group C and Touring Cars. You could be rewarded with a trophy called Multi-Talented, for example, for competing and winning a variety of major series.

Another trophy that I'd thought of would be covering a certain amount of miles in the one car of your choice. This would be more aimed at Endurance Racing and would require you to complete an extensive amount of races using the same car to earn the trophy. You would obviously be driving a car you enjoyed driving, so there's no harm in something like that.

There's a ton of things I'm sure we'd all like to be changed or included but these are just a couple of trophies I think would make a good addition. Also, Gold Standard should stay, that's something I think everyone should try and reach.

Just as long as they don't build the game around them like they did for GT5 (causing a few of the sillier aspects of how it was designed that PD likely couldn't fix after fan requests because it would mean changing trophies, like the credit limit or the small event amounts), I don't care what they are.

Gold Standard
Get a gold trophy in every race event, license test, and special event.


I can deal with that. +1:tup: I've been working on that Gold standard. One of[if not] the toughest for me!

I have a custom trophy idea as well if the Toyota TS030 is included as well:

Survivor: Finish a race at Le Mans in the Deltawing without being taken out by the Toyota TS030.

As long as there's not just ONE gold trophy. GT5 was basically all bronze, 3 or 4 silvers and all bronze :/

Also as long as we don't have a trophy that wants us to collect every variation of a skyline/miata ever made.
 
I'd be satisfied with the same amount of trophies but more silvers and golds and more focused on performance.

Like winning the GT World Championship in a 500PP car or less.
 
I didn`t care about trophies. But I think it should be similar to GT5. Maybe there are more airdynamic and tire related trophies due to the improvement.
