GT has ballast, and 9 tyre compounds.
Forza has tyre pressures, engine swaps, drivetrain swaps, greater granularity of upgrades (ignition, intake, etc), greater variation in bodykits and visual upgrades, and probably more stuff that I'm forgetting.

Tell me more about how GT has more options in tuning again?

It's not about like or dislike. You can like whatever you want, but Forza objectively offers greater freedom in tuning than Gran Turismo does. And that's without getting into the fact that there are several tuning parameters in GT that don't work anything like their real life counterparts, or are just flat out borked.

You can like GT all you want, but you're flat out wrong when you say that GT has more options in tuning.
Forza is just another GTA.

Everything!!!! -guns, drugs and naked girls!
-=minus

It's much easier when people say completely ridiculous things. Then I don't even have to bother putting up a rebuttal.

If you seriously think that Forza is just Grand Theft Auto without guns, drugs and scantily clad women, then rational discussion is hardly going to change your mind.

That's your point of view and I have mine and that's all there is! FORZA=ARCADE.

Hey, fair call.
Each to their own.

Not what the thread asked though.

Well no but I'm just pointing out that the two year difference doesn't have to make a huge difference, it all depends on what cars each chose to model. With a better selection, GT6 could've been a better list than a game released two years later.

Clearly I'm not stupid.
But thanks for pointing that out.

It's a shame that some here feel the urge to create a debate given the slightest opportunity.

Correct me If I'm wrong here but was it not you that just posted in this thread not with a direct answer to the question posed but instead with a broad point about the subject? It's a discussion board, were you just expecting nobody to reply?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in this day and age the common gamer expects the latest and greatest.

Hence my perfectly legitimate comment.

And in response to your last sentence.
No.
I expect a certain group from Gtplanet to argue every little thing I say. Even if it's just one word of my post.
That's just how you guys entertain yourselves.

I never said your comment wasn't legitimate, I just said if you post something like that you have to expect people to respond to you, as I did. That is literally what message boards are for, debate and discussion. This thread and others like it would be rather dull if they were just filled with 'yes/no' responses and nobody discussing it.

Debate, debate, debate.

You didn't have to respond.
You chose to make a clever response.

Debate, debate, debate.

Your life is consumed by telling others how their opinion is wrong.

Give it a break.
Read a post and move on.

Seriously? THIS IS A DISCUSSION FORUM.

forum
ˈfɔːrəm/
noun

1.
a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

If that isn't for you, might I suggest creating a blog and only reading posts here, not creating them?

A convenient attitude to take after posting this:

"If Forza 6 isn't ahead, considering it was released almost 2 years later, there's something wrong.

What else needs to be said?"

...and then arguing it for a half dozen posts.

That FM6 was released two years later has little bearing on its car list anyway: the only thing that really changes is which cars are included that debuted after GT6's release date. Even that isn't a hard line these days thanks to DLC, though PD largely focusing on the VGT program instead of production models does affect it. The majority of FM6's post-2013 models are race cars, anyway. The Group 5 vehicles, pre-war ones, vintage F1... None of those are really affected by the release date.

Besides, as @Samus hinted, FM4 had, in a few ways, an even better car list, even today, than FM6 has.

Well I probably would have read that.
But seeing as I believe a moderators role is to moderate when people break forum rules, and not take sided in a debate, and knowing your history, I didn't bother.

 for someone who has such a problem with debates, you sure are dragging on debating your ridiculous point of view.

Your idea on moderation is duly noted. When you start your own community, feel free to utilize it.

Since you're here instead - after leaving in a huff - please, what again about the two year difference in release dates has a major effect on a car roster that largely focused on cars older than the earlier release date anyway?

Quite ironic as well after the same member posted this a couple of months ago. I think we've got a little pot/kettle action here:lol::
Forget it.

Why bother to come here to talk about a game I like, only to ever be involved in arguments?

Seriously, why would I bother?

I come here to talk to like-minded players of a game.
All I ever get is an argument.
All I ever see of other forumers is an argument.

But hey, the moderation of this site is top-notch.
Never involve themselves.
Never include themselves into the argument.

Kinda thought this was a place to talk about GT.
Clearly this is a place to come to to argue about GT.

Forget it.
Why bother?
I'm out.

If we're really nitpicking, that thing isn't even in FM6 yet ;). It's no different to the VGT's for me, though.

Also nitpicking: @Samus' Audi list has the Auto Union listed in GT, but T10 has kept Auto Union listed as their own make in FM6, so the Type C would bump the count up to 28. Or knock GT6's number down to 36, I suppose.

No but so far, it's only a one off. PD have contributed lots of resources to specifically designing and implementing fantasy cars in GT. Perhaps T10 will do the same (hope not) but at the moment, GT is leaps and bounds ahead when it comes to fantasy cars.

Don't need to beat around the bush about Slip's position. We all know you wouldn't have actually read it anyway.
