How does GT6 look next to a real life lap on Bathurst by Jenson Button?

I'm using the Formula GT, decreased in terms of power to match Jenson Button's F1 Car perfomance to make it a fair comparison.

Same here. There's still so many tracks and variations I haven't tried yet in GT6. I'm more than content with only Bathurst and the Nordschleife to race on! :-)

Up to the first about 40 seconds I didn't really knew what was real and what was the game ... until I saw the helicopter, actually. LOL!

One thing this does demonstrate is the excessive grip in a FGT car compared to real life... The OP was on the gas MUCH earlier than Jenson was

Lowered the power of the FGT to around 50-60% forgot the exact specs, transmission was set to 400 so that the car wouldn't accelerate too fast.

You should change the weight (642kg) and go for about 700bhp (they use demo engines for these things, not the same engines that go to races). You're right about the long box, even for "heavy duty" demo engines there's no point spinning them too hard.

You won't have KERS of course...
