Hello!

First of all sorry for my bad English!

PD claims they read what fans request, and regarding on feedback created GT6... no they are not, stop lying PD.. I read these GTP threads all the time (also all GT news, I basically have GT lifestyle, I know everything about this game) fans are requesting really good things including cars and real racing simulations, (top 3 cars from GTP feedback are not included) and so on.. but that's not the case!

GT6, my favorite game of all time, Im using G27 and having tons of fun and great moments with it!

But I have this huge problem for about 7 years now, I feel suppressed/limited/constrained in... I was creating threads and asking for help from PD.. also in SONY's forums and so on.. nothing has changed.. Very offensive from PD/Sony's side!

So here are these (simple to fix) issues!

1. Why only 12 letters in Name and Surname creation? I have Surname with 14 letters!!! Do they really think everyone in this world are called "Sam" and "Bob" ???

2. Why cant I pick my own Country flag in GT6 (other games do that easy, even Grid), Im tired of being hidden behind wrong identity! That's offensive! I live in Europe!!
(since I cant register my Country in PSN (Latvia.. this issue is for all 3 Baltic countries and many, many, many more!!) I have 20 friends in PSN using wrong country flags, just because they cant register real ones)

Why I just cant pick the country flag I am from.. What about those people who moved to live in different country... Only in the UK we have tons of different nationalities, do you think all of them want to race with the UK flag?

Why only big countries are supported? Are we not people? Its not like Im asking for something impossible! Just a rectangular shape with 3 colours!!

The world is bigger than USA, UK and Japan!!! Stop grabbing money and do something useful!

PD - click the link below to learn more! If not! then stop claiming you listen to your fans!

I am from America, so my flag is correct, but I agree with what you're saying. They should have more flags than what they do.o

As an Estonian, I'm 100% behind this. Just tried GT online today and it's annoying to drive under a UK flag when I have absolutely nothing to do with UK.

Im happy that people are supporting this.. same as it was about 3-4 years ago in GT5 forums... pity nothing has changed.. now after playing GT6 for a while I have to say, physics are so well made I just love it.. but damn... this game is rushed, I can feel it... it was PS4 fault in a way..

anyway, removing shuffle racing was a horrible idea, and no standing starts and qualify in Single player... also many other things are missing out, but I believe PD will update those or some of them...

but still missing out so many things.. including much needed Country flag option!

Tw- Taiwan ? :D

I believe flags are implemented only for countries that are officialy supported by PSN / PSNStore and flag get selected based on your gamertag country selection. But then It wouldn't hurt if they add all known countries flags and option to change flag from default gamertag selection.

Agreed. I live in UK but I'm Portuguese and I would like to race with my flag. It's a small thing but the devil is in the details right?

PD does "Listen to their customers" but the people who are on GTPlanet and Sony forum are not everyone that buys Gran Turismo games, they can't just blindly add everything that us fans want otherwise it'll be even more of an incomplete game because they would have to work on 10+ features, 1000 more cars, and the series will start to work similar to other racing games.

Agreed, I am Canadian and I am pleased I can show my patriotism. I would be very unhappy if I had to masquerade as a resident of another country.

I never really understood patriotism so I'm really not bothered about the flag system. I'm English but couldn't care less if my flag said I was from Trinidad and Tobego or wherever, honestly if I had my way I'd probably remove flags by player names entirely.

No worries there 'coz Trinidad and Tobago's Flag isn't included. :p
I'm not into the whole "Patriotism" thing either but I would prefer to fly the flag of my country since it is where I'm from and it's another "identifier".
I wouldn't complain if flags were removed either... doesn't change much of anything in the final analysis, actually.

I'm from the Philippines and I agree if they can't include most of our flags then might as well "remove" all of them.

My flag looks too much like New Zealand. How about a flag editor?
My flag looks too much like Australia! We just had the opportunity to change it but the stupid general NZ public voted to keep it, so here we are still. ;)

Just look at how many pro drivers live in places like Monaco but race under their own flag. If they fixed this, it would actually make the game more realistic as well as making people happy. This would be a simple fix, I imagine.

It's been 3years since this thread was brought up, still no changes :/
Iv'e been a GT fan since 1997, played all the GT's since that.
Is the game too old, to make simple changes? or youre woried about the updates that took me a week to figure out, how to install them... but I found my own way.

I know right? I'm from Germany; that's where I came from, but since I bought the game in the United States, it thinks I'm American!
