Ahh, found the online thread. Wish we could get an "Online" sub forum here at GTP. Anyways, some observations:
1. The new qualifying is nice. I was a little shocked at first when it first started. I appear on the track by myself, do I go? I guess I go. Wait, I'm in last place? Ok, we're racing for starting position, I get it. Next time I'll be ready to hit it the second it says go. Also found it weird that it gives you proximity warnings when you're on the track by yourself. But that was a cool way to know you were still in the main pack.
2. The list of single make cars is every bit as bad as GT5. No improvement. In fact, maybe it's worse (which would be amazing, since the list of cars in GT5 was pathetic). I don't understand why they don't get that we want to run single car races with full customization. Let us all race with the same Miata, or the same Corvette, or the same Viper, whatever we want. Let us paint them different colors. Let us put numbers on them. Let us tune them. Why is this a problem? If we're talking about GT5, ok, I get it. They didn't think of that. But we've been asking for this stuff since Prologue and you've just release GT6. You should be able to start a room, click a button that opens up the dealership browser and select a car. That then becomes the make of car in the game and everyone gets to choose a color from the list of colors. It would be nice if there was a way to throw a suspension on it too.

3. The rest of the online experience seems unchanged from GT5. I realize there is a patch coming out. So maybe things will get a lot better (and believe me, I am hoping for the best because down deep, I'm a big time fanboi.) But ... help us help you PD. If you give us the tools, we will use them to create events that keep people coming to your franchise for decades to come. It's all about the quality of the racing, at the end of the day. Sure, collecting cars is fun. But after some time, you have all the cars and you get bored. You move on to other games. But racing ... the need to compete never goes away. It's the most addictive part of the game. Help us take this game to the next level. And someday, someone will say on one of these forums, "hey, you remember iRacing?" And people will answer, "iRacing? Was that on the iPhone?"
