Ah but that’s only because we’ve had different experiences there.

I almost made A+ that week with a very solid lap time now I’m dropping like a stone with Gr3 cars. Love the track just not fast in Gr3 so it’s all yin yang

See if you can do TC1, it does make a difference but watch the tight left before the 2nd tunnel. Your time is good though, you improved fast.

Thank you!, I'm trying, and noticed the, that I spots, I'm still not using all the track, but I working on it. I will try TC 1

I've picked out spots to shift, wringing the Porsche's neck out also! And also, not perfect, but the 2nd tunnel, I've opened up a lot, and can see a lot of blue!

I seem to be in a very similar place to @NevilleNobody and @DannyPorter.
High B, went to A on the back of Sardegna last week and struggled at Trial Mountain. Weirdly I can’t stay away even though my time at Laguna is much more competitive and had a few positive results there in A.

At TM I’ve been very frustrated with qualifying, probably more so than anywhere! Sector one I seem to have down Ok (about 41.4 at best) and have done the rest Ok too, but not all at the same time!! So have been looking longingly at an optimum of about 52.5 whilst I can’t get below 53.3! Did 200 miles there the other night, going slightly insane….

Generally do ok at Brands though so hope for a good week.

Being competitive on A A+ lobbies and got a nice Qt waterfall.

Did nice races on B and A lobbies and get back my DR A.

I seem to be in a very similar place to @NevilleNobody and @DannyPorter.

52.2 put you on a sweety spot in B lobbies and A lobbies...

A+ no....some I got P10 in grid...with DR B....🤔...why mix like that

Yeah it's been pretty spicy.
Some good races with the same players that I know (a lot of respect between us, maybe too much). Many bad races because of the players with low sportsmanship rating that keep infesting the lobbies.
It doesn't matter if you have A driver rating and flawless S sportsmanship rating...The system will keep putting a good 8 BS/BA/BB players at the bottom, in the same lobby with A+/AS at the top.
Since I almost never start above 6th or 8th, there's no respect at turn 1 as usual, diving to get the inside of a corner at all costs, plus the damn concrete track limit in narrow sections.

I got it in my head that a 1:26:xxx is achievable to me in the G70 around Laguna Seca and after A LOT of swearing, laughter in despair and persistence, I managed it - (just about) 😅

Earlier this week, someone mentioned to me that the G70 is a bastard to drive on this track and initially, I had a different opinion... But after countless laps of trying to replicate the same maneuvers around the same corners with many different outcomes, I now fully-agree 🤣🫣 The number of times I did a 1:27:0xx when I was even 0.3s faster than my PB at the time and then somehow die is insane!!!

But hey, at least it happened, finally! ☺️

Also - very nice @Barney Da Dog - glad to see someone else go against the tide and ignore the French potato car 🤣 I know @newmedia_dev is also up there on the LB with a different car too but.... let's ignore that 🤪😝😜😂😘

Great time! I've done very few laps this week, after slamming my "change up a gear" fingers in a door at work on Monday:ouch: And also falling down some steps and hurting my "slow down a bit" leg :boggled:
Everything recovering now, but I probably won't do any races as got other stuff on this weekend.

Some Race C Brands could be good next week - hopefully with a little bit of strategy involved, or they could maybe make it an F/R or M/R race (lolz)

Great time! I've done very few laps this week, after slamming my "change up a gear" fingers in a door at work on Monday:ouch: And also falling down some steps and hurting my "slow down a bit" leg :boggled:

It won’t be any consolation to anyone but I’ve been told I have “unstable” shoulders and the ligament channels will need to be adjusted 😲 to avoid/minimize frozen shoulder syndrome.

What a time to be alive 🤣

Thank god, you scared me I thought you were gonna stick a SAAB badge on it…..the shame, never be able to look the neighbours in the eye again!
 
Managed to improve my QT to 1.52.861, but you won’t see this on the leaderboard because I managed to get myself a ban for 7 days, 😬

Alcohol fuelled and slightly embarrassing I have to say but it is what it is, further laments the fact that weekend racing on certain tracks/cars is doomed to disaster, I did manage to put some TT in and 4m credits should be on the way. Then I’ll do that on my account from Friday night next week.

Probably need to grow up but you know how it goes

Been there several times and realised it’s not worth it but it is what it is.

7 days I easily enough to set up and get to menu book 9 with an alt profile and to be honest it’s cathartic to start with a profile with no pressure but already being very quick especially as that profile doesn’t matter.

Do a couple of CEs quickly and you can buy most of your way to opening sports mode.

That's because if they saw you (yeah, even someone like you) in a Saab, all the neighbors' wives and daughters (18+ obviously) would just drop their panties and chase you like crazy, hungry zombies! Story of my life.... 🤣 😂

Cheers mate, it’ll explain me missing in the leaderboard at least next week, yeah I just need to turn chat off and get past that stuff.

Did manage a 1.14.1xx and a win at HSR but that also was a joke of a race tbh 🤣

Yeah to be honest 99% I’d just pick them up and tell them the dropped them, you haven’t seen my neighbours….

Young padewon one day I will tell you the story of the old bull and the young bull…..

Mental time from you and the dogg pound in the G70 not a race for me this week I like both parts of it (the cars and track) just not together for me. It’s not that fun in VR to be honest.

I've had a lot of that in race A this week - had the misfortune to have a last place in race C, which dropped me back down to DR C, and boy is it dirty there!

People could do with learning from these racers at Goodwood today - in particular the battle from about 16 minutes in.....

What a difference 24 hours makes. FINALLY managed to crack the 52s at TM on maybe my second or third lap of the day (1:52.9 so only just, but the relief…), followed by a nice P2.

Then went and beat the meta at Laguna in the GTR! Can’t beat my Megane QT but definitely less slow on the hards.

I wonder if Race B next week at the Nurburgring 24h layout will necessarily include all Gr.3 cars, or specifically the ones that will be featured in the GTWS live round in Berlin? I bet it'll be the latter, which could be quite interesting indeed. I'm excited to try it either way, especially since the race itself only seems to be a single lap. Not to mention there might even be rain involved.

It’s a shame they didn’t think to put a race C on at nurbs nord in gr3, maybe a 3 lap one of those would have sufficed.

Either way if the heads up is right, look forward to a race A with a decent car, even gr4 at sardegna 😁
