Anyways I’m done with race B too, just can’t get on with the track I’ve decided, any car I try I just can’t find any pace
Think I might call it a day on B too.

QT only good enough for about P13 on the grid, running around on my own at the back most of the race yet still getting in a tangle by faster players recovering from spins.

On the plus side I've learned a new track. Also I should get my load cell pedal today and will probably try to get a feel for that whilst completing my master licences in career.

Well, my DR saving is going well,

Against BS mostly but I’ll take it 😁

Also got my QT down to a 2.10.2xx and 193 globally

Probably be all week in A next week tbh as it’s Tokyo and I do sooooo well there

Enjoy your pedals and let me know how those blue and yellow springs go, I don’t have those, but I’m probably used to the f1 style brake and virtually no movement now anyway

Jeez you're getting stuck in some super fast lobbies, last night I was starting 9-12 with a slower time and even got put into 2 races at P2. I'm low A though so maybe they're matching you on your DR to faster drivers?

Before you call it a day, Luke Elliot just posted a super detailed lap guide on Kyoto, it's 34 mins long but breaks down every corner in granular detail so might find you some more pace.

In short he says if you don't hook both curbs at the start you've lost .5 seconds off the bat

Thanks. The springs won't arrive until next week sometime but I'll let you know. I might really like the stock spring.

That's what I suspect but who knows?

I thought yesterday was pretty bad, being wildly inconsistent and far too many spins of my own doing. Well oh boy, this morning I have completely and utterly forgotten how to drive a car - 1st race bang last (from P2) and about 30 secs behind everyone else, then race 2 not much better finishing in 12th.

The funny thing is and completely out of nowhere, in qualifying for the next race I knocked over 2 tenths off my QT down to 33.3. I still have absolutely no idea how I did it, but it ain't happening again 🤣

Mate - honestly have a whirl in the porsche, at least for races, even if you're a tenth or two slower.

In the M6 I had to modulate the throttle coming out of both hairpins but I'm just slamming it down in the Porsche
