Yes mate seems like they alternate.

I wasn’t a fan of big willow last time, too much carnage. Think I’m going to do Laguna seca then looking forward to dragon trail the week after!!!

Initial feedback on the CSL load cell brake pedal - it looks/feels like a premium item, I expected the standard pedals to be like that. As for the feel on track it's great for braking from higher speeds but I'm struggling with the low speed turns; it's so firm I'm not slowing much at all!

Just a matter of getting used to it. Certainly no buyers remorse apart from the v2/3's looking extra tempting 😂

Had a few :33.9s which was encouraging as I only did a couple of laps after the time I'd spent fitting it to my custom pedal board.

Great work on the low :33s btw, folks!

I think it’s just a matter of getting used to it mate and working those springs, you can adjust the travel in your game options so you can see how far it goes when you press it.

Maybe those springs will do wonders on the shorter bit.

Guess the muscle memory part needs to be trained

@BuzzdoggZ if it’s the 4C as the meta that’s a good race, I’m still holding out for Tokyo being a peach, but not if it’s a slow car as that golf gti one was good but got boring in the end

Can you adjust the load on it mate?

I’ve got the RS50 ones and I had same issue and so to get used to it I had it set 15/20kg first then slowly built it up over time to about 35/40kg now which seems to be my sweet spot

Yes mate. Default was 30% (think 100% is 90kg) but set I it to minimum.

Will have a play with the settings when I get time for a proper session. Weekends always seem to be busier than I'd planned. Out in the garden replacing some fencing today!

Whinge incoming so skip if you want 😂 but it’s so frustrating to fight tooth and nail for 3 races to pick up a couple of hundred DR in each to then get punted off by some idiot and end up with less DR when you started!

Wish they’d implement a system where if you point someone off the DR that they lose gets transfered onto the punter instead. I’m sure that would clean things up a bit if you faced losing double DR!

@Barney Da Dog sorry for the rear ending 🤦‍♂️ I got distracted by the guy cutting in front of me. That race was Chaos 😂

@BuzzdoggZ turns out I can’t take that chicane at pace on the inside 😂😂😂

In hindsight I should have bump drafted you but I thought the speed difference was too great and it would have been a point and caused us damage. My in game decision making is shocking I think 🤦‍♂️

Those 2 lobby’s tonight were fast, I’d been starting top 5 the last few sessions.

He was just exploring new lines I think - not very good ones, but they were new.

In one of the following races I lost SR after getting caught in a moshpit, which put me on pole again for the next race, and picked up another win. Weird.

Edit/ just noticed it's win number 299. Hopefully get to 300 next week

It was good to see both Barney and Stringy out there, and it makes for great races with lots of us here being at a similar pace.

I'm going to retire from this week having gained about 500 DR over the week, which I'm very happy with as I thought I would struggle to maintain DR running gr3 races.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's gains and wins next week!

It’s been good racing mostly but a pig to drive!

Just can’t hook up race B and want to keep my A status!

😂😂😂 there was a slight misjudgment of my talent level. Brain said “yeah take the chicane full pelt down the inside” chicane said “get to the back of the pack you moron” 😟

Must have just missed you! Had most of those guys in my lobbies earlier.

There was an S/S guy with a 1:31.9 qualifying time (P2 globally) and he lapped low 32's in the race 😮

As flattering as that looks, I was 4th and 2 top drivers had moment of tripping over themselves and I was close enough to benefit. I was definitely not at their full race pace. I’ll take it, you show up stay clean then things happen.

Once is a mistake, twice is questionable but 3 times is just that’s his tactic to bounce off people round the corner!!!

Getting very grubby this evening. No had a clean race yet in 3 goes, going to try one more and if not then I will cut my session short as no point wasting my Saturday evening getting annoyed at idiots

One thing that is quite clear is your line and speed seem to be lower than what I’d expect when the tight/curb riding line is early and fast.

Opinion: two drivers who make speed in different parts of the lap, Ferrari should have excepted the real racing environment, Porsche should have been a fraction closer to race pace to meet racing expectation

Just a matter of getting used to it.

They take a lot of time to adjust to, I was a DEMON under brakes using the square button on controller (I was a dead user). Moving to pedals i went with a used set of load cells and man, it's weird. Give it 5 to 7 sessions and you'll get an instinct for it.

I missed this post, the aliens are all out farming for GTWS points it seems, although this time round less confident going from the back as they usually do!

1:31…. Errr well ummm mine is the tan gant coat, it’s ok I’ll get it myself……

They’re getting over a second and half quicker now!!! It’s ridiculous!!!

Oh and I’ve 1 trillion percent used this as an excuse to show I came 3rd 😂😂😂

Luckily race A has been my saviour this week with some good racing on offer, managed to improve my QT to 1.10.1xx couldn’t quite slide that car into the 1.09s but my time has me 178th worldwide. 😁

Basically only a few AS in each lobby but enough to create some fierce racing between us and I’m back to the DR I started the week on, 36k, so hopefully in A for good.

And check the video for a switcheroo which led me to victory 😁

Me too mate, it’s so counterintuitive to do though and just feels like you’re not going to make the corner, obviously works but it s bit out of my skill level at the moment but feel like that’s the time leak in both hairpins!
