Switching from the NSX to the Lexus and within 2 laps I've dropped 7 tenths off my quali.

It's a shame really, because I was really gelling with the Honda, but the time I was required to make up in the corners wasn't worth the hassle for always getting dragged into defending once the straights arrive. I know there's pace in the NSX, but I've been experiencing the dreaded "non-meta destruction" from anyone who doesn't understand performance differences. This race is too long for me to risk getting sent to the realm and all the consequences that come with it.

I think my biggest problem was I was nursing a major hangover from the weekend, my birthday is tomorrow but ironically because I drive for a living i might actually be a bit more on the ball tomorrow 🤣🤣 M4 is actually good Craig, I'm slow but it is fun 😁

After a few laps got my QT down to 53.8, Guru and I were both kinda right, that was good enough for anywhere from p1 to top5 in B rooms.

Bit of a torrid night, I have one dum crash every racez best finish was p2 but should have done better. I am very slow in that fiddly section before the bridge, lost 4 tenths or ao through there every lapnagainst a guy I was racing pretty close.
 
On the physics, I'm really happy with the update, the extra grip on RH is very welcome and it seems like they've taken away the need to coast? (I could be wrong on this) but it seems trail braking deeper into the corner and then getting on the gas with minimal coasting seems to be quicker on T1 and the left hander after the bridge in my experience.

Think I'm settled on my QT now with a 1.52.9xx I think I could get this down to a .6 or .7 if I grinded the TT but that would take hours and hours of frustration and I'd prefer to race I think.

The 3 lads at the top of the leaderboard with a time in the 1.50's are insane

haha offfhhh VR with a hangover would send me over the edge I think, my short stint with VR through the corkscrew at Laguna Seca when I was feeling 100% nearly brought my dinner up!!!

Nic mate, well done.

On the turn just before the bridge, I've found braking a touch earlier and being a bit more feathery on the throttle is giving me better times as if I try and brake late I either fly over to the bump or have to overslow and lose all exit speed.

Can't remember when I won last with my main a/c! It might've been here at St. Croix all the way in March when my DR rose to 40k+.

For my less confident driving style, the NSX Concept suits the most as it's a little understeery & stable. I know it's a little slow with acceleration but this car helped me claim my first victory in months. The gap to 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed drivers is part them fighting too much with one another & part me pitting one lap before them for RM. I took a gamble & it worked despite being in the slower car.

My next preferred car is the Nismo. Fast & feels planted on turns. Although, it gets nervous on bumps. Will mainly stick with this car & the NSX. Hoping I can make amends with the Audi.

I was so excited to try the RC F as this car seems to be the meta. It is fast but doesn't suit my driving style as it's a little slippery as an eel & hard to handle. My first race was with this car & I finished 5th which was satisfactory to me.

I'm eager to try the Audi but having to manually use DRS for the whole race seems like a deal breaker for me. But as per TyrannoCyrusRex, Audi's tyre wear is the best. So will race with it once for sure.
