My CSP v3s went out on me and since I've had them for forever, I decided to spend my work bonus on some Simnet pedals with the haptic motors. This, unknowingly forced me to shift over to Sim Hub and dump Sim Race Studio (as they don't support haptic motors and I can't run both software at the same time with GT7).

I also had to drastically shift my pedal arrangement since these pedals are more upright. I had to get a pair of seat mounts from Jeg's and use my drill press on it, and the base of each pedal more times that I want to repeat, but it's all dialed in and comfy, whew! Big buyer beware there on the DOF rigs. If you notice/look close, all their pictures have slanted pedal faces like the CSP v3s. This is from the big dip where the pedal baseplate is, since its downward so much, having upright pedals would mean your toes would have to almost touch your shins-nope!

So I'm working on replicating the same settings I had in SRS over to SH. I have the initial settings dialed in 'I think'. Next I need account for the Green & Black box of hell  aka the out of bounds limit. OOF, not looking forward to that.

Once I get it all dialed in, I'll post my settings for SH here too. I am using a profile from someone else to start and someone who had a DOF Reality H6. I have a lowly P3, but as I suspected, it worked well 'out of the box' and just used the 3 axis' I had available. I had an awful time getting things dialed in from scratch, so I'm happy I made progress.

I did manage to beat my previous best time in the '92 NSX @ Atlanta on SH tires with a 1:34.919 (vs 1:34.964) and I had an off at the double rights before the back straight. This was without my VR set too, may go to show that its how you drive, not the equipment when it comes to speed. Though the equipment can make it waaay more fun, haha.
